Pro Selfishness pollutes the atmosphere, To sell fresh air to the highest bidders. . Like, Why would we take money for air when its abundant? (not that we do, But we do it with food)  Con You want to eat and the employees want to eat. It's a win-win. No, The path we are on does not lead to extinction. There are other ways to get food, You can grow plants like tomatoes and mangoes to satisfy your hunger. You have watched the Lorax way too much, No one will be selling air soon. |

Pro Paying farmers directly, Mall owners won't live as drugs over lords, At least not by making everyone slaves. . the mentality is what i see as the deepest problem, Cuz we can not change by having to eat food. No i mean like, If there aren't enough potatoes for everyone, Then they would automaticly have a price

I'm sorry, But what you say in your debate doesn't line up with what you say here in comments. At least stay consistent on your stance. You say that nobody should be making a profit off of food and now your back peddling.

Never said you were I was just saying that your logic over the matter astounded me.

I'm sorry, But the moment resources or food in specific becomes scarce is when all hell breaks loose and fighting for now said resources will begin. For example The Battle of Plassey. The British invaded India for control of its resources and it's trading routes.

Food has a price for a reason. People who grow food need to make a profit to continue growing food and to be able to have the necessary equipment needed to keep up with the growing demand for food as the population continues to rise. There is a fallacy within your claim which doesn't help you at all. If we have abundant food how are we going to go extinct? If the supply is as high as you claim then the price will therefore drop and make it more available to those. We shouldn't be anywhere near extinction.
On a side note if food was free then people would fight for the resources since they can't purchase is and claim the food as there own.
