Pro Heyo everybody! Please only accept this debate if you are willing to have a serious discussion of the topic. "Collapse of advanced industrial civilization" includes: 1) A sharp drop in global human population due to population growth that outstrips the Earth's capacity to support humanity, global warfare that causes significant ecological disruption, or a massive global pandemic; 2) The collapse of powerful governments (like US, Western European countries, China, India, or Russia) without a stable large-scale state forming to replace them; 3) Any other upheaval (social or ecological) that results in more simplified technological, social, and economic practices in global society. Yeah if you talking about climate change. But i was not. I was talking about a major war.

I think with the scientific projections for climate change nothing extremely severe will start happening until about 2050. Yes, we'll have a ton of natural disasters, like Harvey and Maria, and we'll see rising global food and water shortages, but nothing severe enough to cause collapse of major wealthy/powerful governments.

It will happen far sooner than 2100. Try in the next 10 years....if any longer than 20 years....
