With the current rise in Technological development and Technology constantly making us "dumber" an A.I. Takeover is Inevitable in the near or Distant Future and it ain't gonna be pretty

Inevitable is a strong word. You did not specify how many existing planets could sustain AI over what time period or how far they could travel. Takeover implies an area and space is infinite. It's not plausible to suspect AI would dominate empty space which is the majority of the known universe. There are likely many planets with limited intelligence that will not develop AI. Many concentrated areas that contain matter are not desirable to be dominated by AI. Many resourceful planets with respect to organic lifeforms have nothing useful to potential AI...
