If everyone got what they wanted this world would be a hell hole, but for some reason Liberals believe everything should be handed to them on a silver platter. People have to work to get what they want. Liberals want Immigrants coming over and want illegals to stay because they need to provide for their family, but what about the legal Americans who can't get a job and can't take care of their family because of the immigrants. Liberals also believe women should have more rights then men but how is that fair. Men have rights women don't have that's true but women also have rights men don't have. I just don't understand why do women deserve more rights then men. Everybody is equal in America but Liberals believe that since in the past people have been oppressed then they deserve more rights then those who weren't oppressed. Times have changed and not for the better due to the liberals.

No, this is not what liberals believe. I don't speak for every liberal out there, but we generally believe that everyone who is at a disadvantage should get the help they need so everyone has a fair start. This doesn't mean we serve these people with "silver platters." The fact is not everyone in America is treated equally or the same. For example, racism that is still in America.

Yes, I agree that people need to work to get what they want, and immigrants do. Immigrants start businesses. According to the Small Business Administration, immigrants are 30 percent more likely to start a business in the United States than non-immigrants, and 18 percent of all small business owners in the United States are immigrants. Immigrant-owned businesses create jobs for American workers. According to the Fiscal Policy Institute, small businesses owned by immigrants employed an estimated 4.7 million people in 2007, and according to the latest estimates, these small businesses generated more than $776 billion annually. Immigrants are more likely to create their own jobs. According the U.S. Department of Labor, 7.5 percent of the foreigners are self-employed compared to 6.6 percent among the native-born. Increased immigration to the United States has increased the earnings of Americans with more than a high school degree. Between 1990 and 2004, increased immigration was correlated with increasing earnings of Americans by 0.7 percent and is expected to contribute to an increase of 1.8 percent over the long-term, according to a study by the University of California at Davis. Immigrants boost demand for local consumer goods. The Immigration Policy Center estimates that the purchasing power of Latinos and Asians, many of whom are immigrants, alone will reach $1.5 trillion and $775 billion, respectively, by 2015.

Now on to your other point, you are right women don't deserve more rights than men and men don't deserve more rights than women, but the fact is in America the genders are not equal. Violence and sexual harassment is still a big issue if that is not evident after the start of the #MeToo and the #TimesUp movements. Women are still subject to high rates of gender-based violence and. Nearly one in four women will be a victim of sexual assault in her lifetime, and most of rape survivors are young women and girls. Though campus assault is certainly bad, the problems don"t stop for women when they graduate college, even if victims don"t continue to experience violence or harassment. One of the things that people often forget is that this is an issue that isn"t just affecting women while they"re in college, but can also affect women their whole lives. In addition to the very real problem that one in four women is being sexually assaulted before she graduates college, there"s the fact that women need to get a good education to compete in the economy today, but often survivors of sexual assault on campus are either forced to delay their education or even drop out of school. There"s no way that women can compete for jobs on a level playing field if they can"t even get through college without this threat of sexual assault. There are still many problems for women when it comes to career opportunities. When we see people like Hillary Clinton shattering major glass ceilings and taking huge steps for women, it"s inspiring. But, while Hillary is a symbol of great strides in women"s equality and careers, we still have a long way to go. Women still face rampant discrimination and harassment in the workplace, from being kept out of leadership roles or certain fields entirely, to not being properly accommodated or supported while pregnant or after giving birth.

"[There"s an] under representation of women in leadership in state houses and government congress, and the board room, which obviously speaks to a failure to achieve full equality," Sherwin says. "And the statistics are worse for women who are at the intersection of multiple forms of discrimination, like women of color, women who transitioned, and women with disabilities." Even though women make up almost half of the work force, they only hold 25% of executive-, senior-, and manager-level jobs, 19% of board seats, and 4.6% of CEO roles, according to a report conducted by Catalyst, "The Women"s Leadership Gap."

The numbers are worse when you look specifically at the STEM fields. According to the National Girls Collaborative Project, women make up only 29% of the science workforce, and an even smaller percent for many specific fields, like mechanical engineers (8%) and physicists and astronomers (11%). In Silicon Valley, women held anywhere from 10 to 27% of technology jobs at nine major Silicon Valley companies, like Twitter. That same year, almost half of the 150 highest-earning public companies in Silicon Valley had no female executive officers.

And then there"s the unfortunate reality of how women are treated even if they do get into fields and roles that are typically male-dominated. "Sexual harassment is a major issue that can prevent women from entering fields and spaces that have been traditionally male preserved," Sherwin says. According to the report, "Elephant in the Valley," which surveyed more than 200 women in tech, 60% of women in tech have reported unwanted sexual advances, 87% have received demeaning comments from male colleagues, and 84% have been told they were too aggressive.
Not only does this inequality keep women out of careers they would otherwise pursue, but it also affects their financial health. These types of job discrimination and structural barriers to equality and employment contribute to not only income disparity in the short term, but also disparities in the short term, but also disparities in long-term economic security, which leads to a disproportionately high poverty rate among women.

An unfair tax that targets proves further that there isn't gender equality. Though a handful of states have made moves to abolish the so-called "tampon tax," which classifies feminine hygiene products as non-necessities and subjects them to a "luxury" tax, many more states still charge it. "The tampon tax is still a huge issue rooted in inequality," Jordan Kier and Alex Friedman, co-founders of organic tampon company, LOLA says. "Tampons are a necessary product to help manage a natural (and amazing!) biological process and should not be considered a luxury item. When you consider the fact that men aren't taxed for Rogaine (and sometimes, Viagra), it's easy to feel like we're taxed for being women." And the tampon tax doesn"t just mean women have less money to spend on other things. For low-income women, this additional fee can be the difference between being able to afford feminine hygiene products and not being able to get them at all.

Now back to the real question at hand: are liberals ruining America. No, they are not.

-Different political parties and different perspectives and ideal make and check a good democratic government.
-They believe the government should make the starting line the same for everyone no matter your race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristics.
-Liberals are people a lot like you, who want the country to do better economically and socially. They've got different ideas than yours on exactly how to do it. Generally, they think that the Government's job is to protect workers from abuses of power by employers, to support the free-market economy by preventing destabilizing abuse and injecting money when it's necessary to boost spending, and that the Government shouldn't tell anybody what to do with their personal lives, nor is it the Government's business to dictate what is "traditional." Essentially, the ideal liberal attitude is do what you want, so long as it doesn't hurt other people.
Debate Round No. 1

Okay I'll take that as somewhat of a loss but some of the things you said are plainly not true. According to the Bureau of Statistics and Rainn it's actually 1/6 women that are sexually assaulted. Also. I won't argue that sexual assault is still a problem but more men are raped on average then women if we bring in the prison statistics. Also most domestic violence cases have the women arrested because they were the ones who attacked the man.

Onto your statement about racism 7/10 hate crimes committed in America are caused by African Americans towards white men. White men are victim to hate crimes more then Black Men due to the liberal agenda. Not only that I'm not saying all do but a lot of liberals attack those who disagree with them.

Now if you look at the board most of Trump's seats are mostly filled by women. SOme of the strongest roles in America are filled women. Now due to the liberals Sexual Harassment can be anything. If a man coughs towards a women it's sexual harassment. If a man makes a joke about women it's sexual harassment. At this point anything can be sexual harassment and thanks to a large amount of liberals. At this point the most oppressed race are the whites. There's so much hate for the whites that it's become ridiculous.

Now due to the liberals White Men are 3x more likely to not be accepted in to college. A lot less whites are being accepted into not only colleges but they are also now less likely to get jobs then other races due to the liberal movement. Most companies are scared of the liberals because they know if they don't bend to their agenda their companies will be shut down because of the liberals. THe whole country is scared of the liberals because the liberals are so extreme they will easily ruin the lives of anyone.

Here's the problem like I previously stated there are rights men have that women don't and there are rights women have that men don't. Here's a few big ones. Women can abort a baby with no input or permission from the father. A women can put a child up for adoption without input from the father. If a divorce takes place a women gets automatic rights to the children unless the father can prove that the women can not take care of them. When a women commits a crime and a man commit the same exact crime the women will get off easier then the man. Those things would be unfair but no one says anything because it's all about what men can do that women can't. At this point women actually do have more rights then men but that doesn't matter.

Of course tampons should be taxed. Foods are a necessity but food is still taxed. Everything is taxed. Condoms are taxed. If you make it to where tampons aren't taxed we should make it to where condoms aren't taxed. It's ridiculous. Please don't use such a stupid argument against me Jesus Christ.

Liberals don't want everyone to start equally, and everyone does start equally. The reason a lot of people aren't doing good is because they do not work for it. Everyone is already equal. In their own ways everyone has a right someone else does not have but they also don't have a right someone else have. It's the way of America.

Before we continue this debate, I think you really need to see this video because not everyone starts equally and liberals in general want the government to fix that. They think its the governments job to change that through legislation and in awareness their platform can bring them. Please watch this and I encourage you to watch more videos like that.
Debate Round No. 2

After watching this I can tell you those people are actors. Everyone in the back was black or asian but it's been proven more white fathers walk out then black fathers. It's actually just a stereotype that was proven false. Now I want you to watch this

See my family and I recently moved to America from Japan and my father worked so hard and nearly killed himself to earn the right to be here. I have to act certain ways so my father is happy so I know when someone is acting or faking something. But that guy. He isn't faking

Well if someone in a video is "faking it" or not isn't the broader message that they are trying to display. The video was trying to visually show that not everyone is equal at birth and in their family situation. Here is a video explaining what liberalism is.

Before we go further, I need you to explain to me what kind of liberal is ruining America or is it all of them?
Debate Round No. 3

The fact that you aren't disputing any of my arguments is a bit disconcerting. It doesn't matter what someone says something is if it's not true. It's like the democratic party. What they're supposed to be isn't what they are. They used to stand for something. What happened to them? Oh that's right most of them are liberals. Huh. Interesting.

CRAZY liberals ruin the United States along with CRAZY conservatives, in the end crazy people ruin the United States, I'd say the majority or liberals and conservatives are pretty normal and it is unfair to say that an entire group is ruining a country besides each side probably had their share of good contributions.
