If you like your pets, you shouldn't like PETA. Also, they are against livestock and domestication of animals by human beings of any kind.
What r u saying? Peta is in favor of animal rights movements also if u remember the case of Michael Vick they spoke out in an extremely negative way against him, also they dont care if u have pets as long as u take care of them well there are no complaints.I remember outside of a burger king out in the westwood village near my house there were protests of burger king buying meat from a company who keeps there chickens in a box from birth to death. |

"...We believe that it would have been in the animals' best interests if the institution of 'pet keeping'—i.e., breeding animals to be kept and regarded as 'pets'—never existed."
- http://www.peta.org... The aforemtnioned website also says, "Contrary to myth, PETA does not want to confiscate animals who are well cared for and 'set them free.'" This is also not true, as they want "total animal liberation," which includes "...[confiscating] animals who are well cared for and 'set them free.' - http://www.activistcash.com... PETA has also killed approximatley 17,400 animals out of 20,899 that could have been adopted. "On its 2002 federal income-tax return, PETA claimed a $9,370 write-off for a giant walk-in freezer, the kind most people use as a meat locker or for ice-cream storage. But animal-rights activists don't eat meat or dairy foods. And during a 2007 criminal trial, a PETA manager (testifying under oath) confirmed the obvious -- that the group uses the appliance to store the bodies of its victims. In 2000,... PETA president Ingrid Newkirk complained that actually taking care of animals costs more than killing them. 'We could become a no-kill shelter immediately,' she admitted. PETA kills animals. Because it has other financial priorities. PETA rakes in nearly $30 million each year in income, much of it raised from pet owners who think their donations actually help animals. Instead, the group spends huge sums on programs equating people who eat chicken with Nazis, scaring young children away from drinking milk, recruiting children into the radical animal-rights lifestyle, and intimidating businessmen and their families in their own neighborhoods. PETA has also spent tens of thousands of dollars defending arsonists and other violent extremists [ALF (Animal Liberation Front), ELF (Earth Liberation Front), etc.]. PETA claims it engages in outrageous media-seeking stunts 'for the animals.' But which animals? Carping about the value of future two-piece dinners while administering lethal injections to puppies and kittens isn't ethical. It's hypocritical -- with a death toll that PETA would protest if it weren't their own doing." - http://www.petakillsanimals.com... Any more info necessary?
http://www.peta.org... Here is the site which has a reason why many animals have been destroyed but it was never because, of not being able to fight that well but it was that these pets were born into a world that have not enough homes for,so basically u were wrong about "liberation of the animal kingdon" as of all it may be hipocrytical on their part but why let a dog be hungry in the streets forever in eternity. |

Remember, ends don't justify means. And in their case, even some of their ends aren't justfied, as you can tell.
If u remember who believed in euthanasia, this is for animals to because, dont forget the phrase people for the the ethical treatment of animals. |
