We looked for this debate but were unable to find it so we decided we would create it. This is for our MORAL lesson, so please explain your reasons behind your opinion. We believe that athletes are overpaid, because it is a form of entertainment, the money could be put towards so many things that will benefit society more than some hot guy kicking a ball. We respect all participants so please be respectful to others despite a difference in opinions.
thanks, ESUKsYOb1atch

You are suggesting a system of compensation that is totally different from the one we have now -- one that applies value judgments to different lines work. Please spell out what makes work more or less valuable and deserving of compensation.

To answer your main question yes athletes are over paid. But sure are actors and actresses, that also goes to the over paid CEO in corporations. And being a politician, and top executives in a university. All get over paid.
