My opening argument is simply that we as a society are becoming snowflakes and are far too sensitive to minor things that don"t even matter like clapping in university, Which a recent English college banned because it triggered some students"" Anxiety. How pathetically sensitive we have become as a society
We have become a free and open society. We have become a society that accepts people for who they are. Offensive attacks or attempts to ridicule a portion of the American population is an affront to human dignity. For the African American community, Saying the N word is considered to be a very serious offense if said by someone of a color other than black. Are you going to say we should start saying this word, Because African Americans should be less sensitive? The same logic applies to any other minority group feeling discriminated against. |
