Yes because of many things. Have you watch the news about attack in schools that have be with gun? There are many guns attack and there should be no guns, then there will be less accidents, and less deaths.

Yes there have been attacks with guns but do you really think that a person who is going to shoot up a school is going to give up his gun to the police just because he was told too? No he won't care the only people who will turn over their weapons are the law abiding citizens not the crazed gunman. And if i wanted to go and kill people at a school I'd make a bomb, pull the fire alarm and run them over as they were evacuating the building, or pull out a knife in class. And in response to you have you watched the news comment have you seen how many times someone has just driven a car through groups of people when they can't get a gun?

You may be right on gunman not giving up on the gun. But have you ever think what happen if a gunman invade your schools, you may freak out. If Donald Trump did something about it and add a law about guns price should rise or someone can be it if they don't have bad record in their life or just gun be gone and be reserved for the army.

But do you really think he would buy a legal gun, they track those if anything the shooter would steal one, or buy on off of the black market. And if they were reserved to the military that would mean the police couldn't have them because police are considered part of that well armed militia the second amendment lets us have.

Police may need guns but they have taser. The one who works in police may have a gun if they gain trust. What happens if a police is seeking revenge on someone, they may use the gun to kill the person and don't if they lose their job and they will ran away. So, if people who works in a job that have to be with guns, they need to earn it for extra defense.

Reasons for voting decision: Con pointed out that criminals are able to bypass gun laws or use other methods to harm people. Pro acknowledged that this may be right. He then changed his argument that only the rich, those trusted by the government, and the military should have guns. This is a poor argument as he further goes on to say even the police cannot be trusted with guns as one may suddenly go off and kill a person in revenge and run away. Pros argument makes it clear that it is not guns that are the issue, but people. And if people are so crazy that even police officers cannot be trusted with guns, how could the American people trust the government to hold sole control over all guns and power? If you think I voted wrong let me know why and how and I'll try to improve next time. If you want help getting other people to vote on the debate as well, I'll help with that.
