There are many bible contradictions thus proving the bible to be unreadable, (and these are few among many), god and christ to be imperfect, thus proving them to be unworthy of faith and worship.

These proven and irrefutable contradictions are taken from The Freedom of Religion Foundation.

Should we kill?
Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill."
Leviticus 24:17 "And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death."

Exodus 32:27 "Thus sayeth the Lord God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, . . . and slay every man his brother, . . . companion, . . . neighbor."
I Samuel 6:19 " . . . and the people lamented because the Lord had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter."
I Samuel 15:2,3,7,8 "Thus saith the Lord . . . Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and a$$. . . . And Saul smote the Amalekites . . . and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword."
Numbers 15:36 "And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses."
Hosea 13:16 "they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with children shall be ripped up."
For a discussion of the defense that the Commandments prohibit only murder, see "Murder, He Wrote", chapter 27 (Losing Faith In Faith: From Preacher To Atheist).

Should we tell lies?
Exodus 20:16 "Thou shalt not bear false witness."
Proverbs 12:22 "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord."

I Kings 22:23 "The Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee."
II Thessalonians 2:11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie."
Also, compare Joshua 2:4-6 with James 2:25.

Should we steal?
Exodus 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal."
Leviticus 19:13 "Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbor, neither rob him."

Exodus 3:22 "And ye shall spoil the Egyptians."
Exodus 12:35-36 "And they spoiled [plundered, NRSV] the Egyptians."
Luke 19:29-34 "[Jesus] sent two of his disciples, Saying, Go ye into the village . . . ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him. . . . And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt? And they said, The Lord hath need of him."
I was taught as a child that when you take something without asking for it, that is stealing.

Shall we keep the sabbath?
Exodus 20:8 "Remember the sabbath day to keep it holy."
Exodus 31:15 "Whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death."
Numbers 15:32,36 "And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. . . . And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses."

Isaiah 1:13 "The new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity."
John 5:16 "And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day."
Colossians 2:16 "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holy-day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days."
Shall we make graven images?
Exodus 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven . . . earth . . . water."
Leviticus 26:1 "Ye shall make ye no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone."
Deuteronomy 27:15 "Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image."

Exodus 25:18 "And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them."
I Kings 7:15,16,23,25 "For he [Solomon] cast two pillars of brass . . . and two chapiters of molten brass . . . And he made a molten sea . . . it stood upon twelve oxen . . . [and so on]"

Prove that the bible is worthy of acceptance.

Your first "contradiction" shows your ignorance of the bible. "You shall not kill" is actually not a command found in the Ten Commandments. The command from scripture in the original language actually says "You shall not murder" (Exodus 20:13). The Hebrew word for "murder" literally means "the intentional, premeditated killing of another person with malice." the original word in Hebrew is ratzakh which means "to kill" which is different from the word for murder but often gets mistranslated. (and no that doesn't mean that text is the worst form of communication.) An accidental killing is not murder:

Exodus 21:12-13
Anyone who strikes a man and kills him shall surely be put to death. However, if he does not do it intentionally, but God lets it happen, he is to flee to a place I will designate.

Numbers 35:22-25
But if without hostility someone suddenly shoves another or throws something at him unintentionally or, without seeing him, drops a stone on him that could kill him, and he dies, then since he was not his enemy and he did not intend to harm him, the assembly must judge between him and the avenger of blood according to these regulations. The assembly must protect the one accused of murder from the avenger of blood and send him back to the city of refuge to which he fled.

A killing performed in self-defense (or in defense of one"s home) is not murder:

Exodus 22:2
If a thief is caught breaking in and is struck so that he dies, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed

A killing performed in an attempt to save the life of an innocent person is not murder:

Exodus 2:11-12
One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. (God did not judge Moses as a murderer because he was protecting the life of the slave)

Genesis 14:14-16
When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan. During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus. He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people. (God did not judge Abram as a murderer because he was protecting the life of Lot)

Killing becomes murder when (and only when) it is not properly justified, and the justifications are clear: you can use whatever force necessary to protect your own life from a hostile aggressor, or to save the life of an innocent from such imminent, life-threatening danger. The difference between the legal or illegal use of deadly force is really a matter of motive, intent and justification, and these distinctions come straight from the pages of Scripture. When God gives an order to kill it is not "murder" but justified killing.

As for lying and dillusions: God is not commending lying here. He is simply utilizing it to accomplish His purposes. God is not promoting lying, but permitting it to bring judgment on evil. That is, God, for His own purposes of justice, allowed Ahab to be deceived by evil spirits whom He knew in His omniscience would be used to accomplish His sovereign and good will. God is sovereign even over evil and uses this to his advantage. Closer examination of scripture shows that God only uses this on those who will not see the truth either way.

as for lying. these first two are taken out of context to the point of willful deception. the full quote is this."The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing. 36 The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians." The Egyptians gave them their "plunder" willingly, therefore, it is not theft.

The farmer didn't didn't stop them from taking the ox for one, I'm also not sure if they returned it or not but I imagine they did. Secondly, the ox, and everything else, rightfully belongs to God therefore he can take it if he needs it.

as for the Sabbath. This is merely a dispensational difference between the old and new covenants. Pauls writings in Romans and Galatians outline some of these differences. On the other hand, many practicing Jews do still keep the Sabbath.

As for Graven images. The spirit of the Law is not to make graven images for the purpose of worshipping them. A statue or picture is not the same as an idol. A good example of this distinction is in Numbers 21 when God told Moses to make a bronze serpent on a rod (which today is even a medical symbol on the back of ambulances). Jesus alluded to that event when he talked with a Jewish teacher in John 3. The people of Israel were complaining against God so God sent venemous snakes to kill them. But they repented and so God had Moses erect the bronze snake. He promise that whoever had been bitten and looked upon the bronze snake would live. Jesus used that as an allegory for his death on the cross, which would become the object of faith for eternal salvation. But then we read in 2Kings 18:4 that many years later the people of Israel began to worship the bronze snake and so the king appropriately had it destroyed. So also with religious symbols. They should be removed if they become objects of faith. The prohibition against making graven images was distinctly set in the context of worshiping idols. There are, then, several reasons why making the cherubim does not conflict with this command not to bow down to graven images. First, there was no chance that the people of Israel would fall down before the cherubim in the most holy place, since they were forbidden to go in the holy place at any time. Even the high priest went only once a year on the Day of Atonement (Lev. 16).

Further, the prohibition is not against making any carved image for decorative purposes, but of those used in religious worship. In other words, they were not to worship any other God or any image of any god. These cherubim were not given to Israel as images of God; they were angels. Nor were they given to be worshiped. Hence, there is no way in which the command to make them violated the commandment in Exodus 20.

Finally, the prohibition in Exodus 20 is not against religious art as such, which includes things in heaven (angels) and on earth (humans or animals). Rather, it was against using any image as an idol. That idolatry envisioned is evident from the fact they were instructed not to "bow down to them nor serve them" (Ex. 20:5). The distinction between non-religious use of images and a religious use is important.

All of these so called contradictions are born from either ignorance of scripture, or the quotes being willfully removed from context.

I repudiate the burden established at the end unless the parameters are narrowed and refined.
Debate Round No. 1

I truly love darling little maggots like you who come in here, especially 17 year olds still stuffed into closet classroom high schools. So by that reasoning alone you have a limited vocabulary and cannot possibly know all that much about your, god, religion and bible especially the absolute fact that the christian god would never choose text as a form of communication, the worst form of communication possible so everybody like you can get it wrong. So let"s see what you got from a punk kid like you in which I started from the very top "taken from The Freedom of Religion Foundation" who will ALWAYS, like myself, know a lot more about YOUR god, religion and bible than you ---EVER--- will.

Now if I see invented excuses and or flat out lies, and believe me I do know a lot better as to when you commit them, to make your butt shine greener over a septic tank and thus you clearly not know what you are squawking about to thus make yourself look smarter and a lot more edumacated for knowledge in which he knows not and yet he pretends he does, and I shall give you three strikes and this debate will be thus over. Period.

So let"s begin"
Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill." That"s exactly what the KJV states which holds more weight than any other. ""The Hebrew word for "murder" literally means "the intentional, premeditated killing of another person with malice."" Sure call it "murder", its still a super massive hypocritical contradiction especially when your god does the murdering. Oh but wait, that"s perfectly justifiable to YOU correct? Sorry WRONG Strike 1 especially when it involves children and babies as the great flood as an example would have had to have done. That"s murder by YOUR definition.
Leviticus 24:17 "And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death."
NIV ""Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death."
NLT "Anyone who takes another person"s life must be put to death."
ESV ""Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death."
Torah "And if a man strikes down any human being he shall be put to death."

All of these are MURDER by YOUR definition in which YOUR god ordered with obvious premeditation and the intent of mass killing". Great! Here"s your god doing exactly that to the letter and many of them involving babies and children. And the thing that your baby brained reject doesn"t get is that if god is god with all of these genocides that either he committed or ordered them to be committed is that NOBODY DESERVED OR NEEDED TO DIE!!!!!!!!!
Indeed god is far far far worse than Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Stalin, Hong Xiuquan, all serial killers, all rapists, all tortures, all pedophiles, all sadomasochists etc etc etc combined. After all god knowingly created them which means that he is ultimately responsible for them. Its either that or god is not a god and lets them off the hook with nothing but a tap on the shoulder for their horrific, disgusting, repugnant crimes and simply god---does---not---care. Now here's some examples of god"s sickened, diseased, abominable atrocities for absolutely no reason at all... the great flood according to the bible (which never happened btw) so who knows what the body count was there? 3,000 EX 32:27-28, 14,700 NU 16:49, 24,002 NU 25: 1-11, 12,000 JOS 8: 1-25, 10,000 JG 1:4, 120,000 JG 8:7-10, 42,000 JG 12:3-6, 1,000 JD 15:14-15, 3,000 JD 16:27-30, 25,101 JD 16:27-30, 1 SAM 4 34,002, 1 SAM 6:19 50,070, 2 SAM 8 65,850, 1 KI 20: 28-29 100,000, 1 KI 20: 30 27,000, KI 19 35 -37 185,000, 2 CHR 13 17-18 500,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 2 CHR 28:6 120,000, Esther 9:5-18 75,813 etc etc etc Yeah god is really so moral huh? Nope. Oh and btw, there"s no such a thing as "love" within any genocide.

"Numbers 35:22-25" Wow. You really think that is going to happen to ANYBODY? That should be a STRIKE 2 for being so ignorant.
Exodus 22:2
Which version are you reading?

Exodus 2:11-12
One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people. Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. (God did not judge Moses as a murderer because he was protecting the life of the slave) - A slave? Well slavery IS WRONG but NOT according to YOUR god AND moses!!!!!!! And nowhere in those verses does it say that moses was protecting a slave!!!!!! And naturally moses can get away with anything. And considering the fact that god murdered 500,000 jews for no reason 2 CHR 13 17-18, this really doesn"t count. Revenge doesn"t count either. Nor does an "eye for an eye". Wow what a great teacher this god AND moses is - correct? You pathetic 17 year old worthless drab. Now you go out and do EXACTLY what happened here and see what it gets yah because you WON"T because its 100% wrong!!!

"Killing becomes murder"" Its all the same especially when children and babies become involved in which happened many many many times within YOUR pathetic god"s genocides for 0% reasoning. What you simply don"t get is that this god of yours could have easily started out with peace, love, kindness, care, harmony, etc. Nah. He chose hate, evil, anger, wrath, vengeance, rage, fury, jealousy all in which he freely admitted of himself except for hate. And even worse this god of yours neatly passed down those emotions so man could learn to hate. Great going god. Great going you for believing in him with at least 1 billion bodies stacked up neatly on the battlefields all in his supposed "good" name with absolutely no peace in sight. So don"t talk to me or anyone about killing VS murder when YOUR god loves and is both. But the again you cannot even prove he even exists.

Its a supermassive hypocritical contradiction when YOUR god commands thou shalt not kill/ murder (either one) and yet YOUR god kills and murders. Wow what a truly great role model YOUR cheap god is. Its a defininate STRIKE 1.

Oh and btw, to further degrade and humiliate and dehumanize you simply because you think you are so smort, sorry smart and you are really a beginner at this, here"s what YOUR bible says as to how to investigate a murder. And imagine all the glorification if this was to take place in today"s court system? How wonderful that would be - RIGHT? Look up Deuteronomy 21: 1-8 (no room to post = its beyond unfathomable because its so silly)

Exodus 20:16 "Thou shalt not bear false witness."
Proverbs 12:22 "Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord."
"As for lying and dillusions: God is not commending lying here." You are right. He"s commanding it.
I Kings 22:23 "The Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee."
That's very crystal clear. You have 0 outs and is a super major hypocritical contradiction. To lie is terrible for humans, but to god, sure he can lie. Why not? What a great role model. STRIKE 2.

"as for lying. these first two are taken out of context"" There"s no such a thing as taking YOUR bible out of context, especially when you a high schooler kid who truly doesn"t know how to interpret it. Now here"s some verses for you to prove it.
Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him."
Isaiah 40:8 "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."
Psalm 19:7 "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple."
That"s pretty simple enough. YOU cannot change ONE GOD DAMNED THING AND MUST TAKE YOUR GOD"S WORD AS IS PERIOD. Its either that or whoever transcribed YOUR bible is in complete error and he or they took the bible out of context, so in turn you would take the bible out of context which is one major reason why YOUR god would NEVER rely on text as a form of communication, the worst form of communication possible.
"as for lying. these first two are taken out of context to the point of willful deception." Well your entire bible is guilty of that and only you know what you mean by that and I"m not going to play guessing games with you and look something up to which I know not. If you cannot provide me with chapters and verses, that"s not my problem, that"s yours.

"as for the Sabbath. This is merely a dispensational difference between the old and new covenants." Oh absolutely 100% is it not. You show me anywhere in YOUR bible this so-called covenant. Oh and btw, YOUR precious jesus is a false prophet and he lied several times such as coming back within a generation and never did, that stupid idiotic ideal of being bitten by a snake and you will survive, and he worked on the sabbath thus breaking god"s laws in which god"s law is PERFECT, not jesus, a true creep which demanded that you give up your families in which no sane person would EVER do unless there"s severe abuse, AND give up ALL of your possessions in which you have done neither so you nor anyone except for perhaps 1,000 people on the planet are true christians, and follow him, yeah where? To air? Now if you do not know any of those, then you do not know YOUR christ and thus christianity is false, christ is false and the NT is false. Well that of course is true unless you believe that the god of the NT and the OT are not one and the same, thus you do not believe in creation, the 10 commandments, the great flood (which never happened btw and thus is one big fat lie thus proving that YOUR bible is NOT perfect and neither is god), Noah"s ark (which could never float btw), exodus, the parting of the red sea, the 10 plagues, Sodom and Gomorrah etc etc etc. You do not believe in any of it. See, you pathetic so-called christians who is an impossibility to be christians in the first place, make up your own rules as you go along without known one goddamn thing about your pathetic religion and yet you pretend that you do. STRIKE 3.

One more time. The actual original Hebrew word meant murder which is different from killing.

As for the flood Genesis chapter 6 gives four reasons why God sent the Flood:

'The wickedness of man was great in the earth' (v. 5).
'Every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually' (v. 5).
'The earth was filled with violence' (v. 11).
'The earth...was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth' (v. 12). (All the people on earth had corrupted their way.)
The historical biblical record states, 'And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt' (Genesis 6:12). This is in sharp contrast to God's declaration when he had finished creating the heaven and the earth, namely, 'And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good' (Genesis 1:31). It is astounding to consider that in the tenth generation from Adam the human race had become so wicked, evil, violent and corrupt that it was not fit to go on living. And of all mankind only four men and four women were spared, because they did not go with the great sin drift.

Q: Are these reasons adequate to have warranted the wholesale destruction of the human race?

A: The Bible tells us that mankind was created by God as a special being, made in God's image, to live according to the rules which God has laid down. When mankind breaks those rules judgment follows. Why? Because God, as a result of His holiness and justice, has decreed to punish the wicked and disobedient. Sometimes this punishment is evident to all in this life, but the ultimate punishment awaits the Day of Judgment. 'And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment' (Hebrew 9:27). This judgment is described in Revelation 20:11-15. In the case of those living on earth in Noah's day, God adjudged that their deeds were such as to necessitate the penalty which He imposed.

John Calvin commented, 'It [the whole earth] was not overwhelmed with a deluge of waters till it had first been immersed in the pollution of wickedness...that wickedness was too deeply seated in their hearts, to leave any hope of repentance.'5

Q: Why were the earth and animals destroyed too?

A : In so far as sin is a transgression of the law, it is guilt; in so far as it is a principle, it is pollution and defilement. Calvin said, 'The earth was like a wealthy house, well supplied with every kind of provision in abundance and variety. Now, since man has defiled the earth itself with his crimes, and has vilely corrupted all the riches with which it was replenished, the Lord also designed that the monument of his punishment should there be placed: just as if a judge, about to punish a most wicked and nefarious criminal, should, for the sake of greater infamy, command his house to be razed to the foundation. And this all tends to inspire us with a dread of sin; for we may easily infer how great is its atrocity, when the punishment of it is extended even to the brute creation.'6

What of God's mercy?
God's mercy regarding the Flood is just as evident as His judgment, and is seen in the fact that God provided a way of escape for those who were prepared to believe what He had said, heed the warning He gave, and avail themselves of the means of salvation which He provided by instructing Noah to build the Ark (Genesis 6:14-16).

Noah is described as 'a just man', 'perfect in his generations', who 'walked with God', and who 'found grace in the eyes of the Lord' (Genesis 6:8-9); he was also 'a preacher of righteousness' (2 Peter 2:5). From this, it is very reasonable to conclude that his messages, perhaps preached from the platform of the partially completed Ark, included warnings of the coming judgment and invitations to his listeners to avail themselves of the one means of escape, which he was constructing. In the event, Noah and his family alone had regard to the wrath of God, and only eight people boarded the Ark in faith and were saved"Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their three wives.

These other verses must be taken within the context of the difference between Ratzakh and Harag. the words for kill and murder. This context changes the meaning of these verses that you cite. it isn't a contradiction if you use the original Hebrew.

Also, the hebrews were slaves in egypt. Cross apply.

God is not responsible for the actions of people because we have free will. Now, I know what you're going to say. "tell me where in your bible YOUR god says "I the lord thy god grant man free will." Just look at any of our past debates for that answer. They don't get off the hook. They go to hell when they die.

It's becoming increasingly evident that you've never actually read the bible. 1. God never claimed to be evil. 2. He did start with all of those things that you say. It was only after the fall that those other things came in.

He does not murder I've already explained the difference between the two and the justification for the flood.

The "investigation for murder" is yet another deception on your part. Deuteronomy 21:1-8 has nothing to do with investigating a murder. Only what to do when the murderer isn't caught.

God did not command it, he permitted it. God allowed an evil spirit to go about its business because he knew it would get to his desired ending. Again, you're wrong about what the bible actually says.

I'm sick of your ad hominem attacks on my age. YOU have willfully taken the text out of context, YOU have failed to look at anything beyond face level, and whenever you see an argument you can't counter you fall back on insults because you lack the intellect necessary to compete.

Next, None of these verses say that the bible can't be taken out of context. previously you removed sentences that changed the meaning of the text. This is taking the Bible out of context. Also, while the word of God is true, it isn't all meant to be taken literally. Jesus enjoyed speaking in parables. Sharing the gospel isn't actually sewing seeds in the ground.

When Jesus told the disciples to leave their families, he meant their fathers and mothers not their wives which they didn't have.

You don't get to tell me what I believe for one. and 2 according to Smithsonian magazine, the Ark could float. So you're not only biblically illiterate but scientifically illiterate as well.

I would point out that you dropped the point on graven images.
Debate Round No. 2

"One more time". I already told you if god is god NODOBY NEEDED TO DIE. I already told you that it doesn"t matter between the difference of killing and murder because YOUR god did both. That"s according to YOU and YOUR ideals and the very definitions of "murder.

"'The wickedness of man was great in the earth' (v. 5)." So what you are tell me and every---single---idiot---maggot---dull---pigeon---silly---moo---juice---moron---including---your---ignorant--self is that EVERYBODY, including children, babies still suckling on their mother"s nipples, pregnant mothers (which proves that christians in no way shape or form believes in abortions because their god most certainly loves abortions as proved here" so its a super massive hypocritical contradiction as there are at least 1,000 super massive hypocritical contradictions in YOUR bible and inconsistencies as proved right here which proves YOUR bible to be proved unreadable, which is yet another reason why YOUR god would NEVER choose text as a source of communication, the worst form of communication possible), yeah, yeah right EVERYBODY EXCEPT for Noah and his family was wicked and deserved to be snuffed out and drowned? Since you think so, this debate is now over because you have no justification for ot. None. And you cannot even prove that YOUR god even exists. Oh and btw, to further add insult to injury, the great flood NEVER happened. But nah, your teeny tiny little tied up smog filled brain, for you its truly impossible for you to do any research whatsoever.
Here"s a couple of videos for you to look to to 100% prove that the great flood NEVER happened. The first is the absolute best. Have fun! - How Archaeology Disproves Noah's Flood - How Anthropology Disproves Noah's Flood - How Dendrochronology Disproves Noah's Flood - How Meteorology Disproves Noah's Flood - How Mythology Disproves Noah"s Flood - How Geology Disproves Noah's Flood - How Paleontology Disproves Noah's Flood - The Math of the Great Flood - Noah's Ark Debunked - 39 Problems with the Noah's Ark Story (includes the great flood also) - Noah's Ark is Plagiarized. Here's how we know " - Bible"s Buried Secrets 14:45
And you nor anyone can refute a word. Will you look at them? Why of course not. That"s because nothing can challenge your idiotic beliefs in which you believe are all powerful for them to come crashing down. Regardless, don"t even think about bothering me again since you think that all pregnant women, children and babies should have been snuffed out during a make believe great flood. K you punk kid sweaty piece of rear end wipe in which you have no justification for and thinks he knows everything and yet knows 100% of nothing? Oh and oh yeah, duh, one last thing" I bet you"d like to have lived during that time just so you could have and would have been snuffed out in a make believe world because YOUR god says so - correct? That"s a good boy. Bye.

Restating your argument is not sufficient to disprove mine. Read my last post for my rebuttal on the single argument provided against me.

The remainder of this post is nothing but ad hominem attacks and attempting to disprove Noah's flood which is not the subject of this debate which is internal biblical inconsistencies as is evidenced by every round thus far. However, I will address these videos anyway because it should be easy.

Ancient documents about the days of Peleg are consistent with the total accuracy of the Bible"s chronology.

How Do We Know the Bible Is True? Volumes 1 & 2 Shop Now
Four generations after Noah, Genesis 10:25 records the birth of Peleg (meaning division) "for in his days was the earth divided". Some suggest the continents of the earth were divided at this time. However, this seems unlikely, as such a process would have had to occur within a very confined time period. The resultant geological violence would be overwhelmingly catastrophic"like another Noahic Flood all over again. Any continental separation thus likely occurred during the Flood.1

The traditional interpretation, which seems more reasonable, relates this verse to the division of people/nations at the Tower of Babel event in Genesis 11. (Just like the English "earth" can have a variety of meanings, the Hebrew erets can also mean nation(s)"thus erets Yisrael, the land (nation, people) of Israel.) According to the biblical chronology as deduced by Archbishop Ussher, the Flood occurred in 2349"2348 BC, and Peleg was born in 2247 BC about a hundred years later. Do ancient writers shed any light on when this happened? The answer is a resounding yes.

Babylon begins
The year was 331 BC. After Alexander the Great had defeated Darius at Gaugmela near Arbela, he journeyed to Babylon. Here he received 1903 years of astronomical observations from the Chaldeans, which they claimed dated back to the founding of Babylon. If this was so, then that would place the founding of Babylon in 2234 BC, or about thirteen years after the birth of Peleg. This was recorded in the sixth book of De Caelo ("About the heavens") by Simplicius, a Latin writer in the 6th century AD. Porphyry (an anti-Christian Greek philosopher, c. 234"305 AD) also deduced the same number.2

Egypt emerges
The Byzantine chronicler Constantinus Manasses (d. 1187) wrote that the Egyptian state lasted 1663 years. If correct, then counting backward from the time that Cambyses, king of Persia, conquered Egypt in 526 BC, gives us the year of 2188 BC for the founding of Egypt,3 about 60 years after the birth of Peleg. About this time Mizraim, the son of Ham, led his colony into Egypt. Hence the Hebrew word for Egypt is Mizraim4 (or sometimes "the land of Ham" e.g. Psalm 105:23,27).

Greece gets going
Artist"s reconstruction of the Tower of Babel. This view, modelled upon ancient ziggurats, is probably very similar to how it actually appeared. The Greek historian Herodotus (5th century BC), who saw it on his way through Babylon, described it as having eight levels, and standing a colossal 60 m (about 20 modern stories) high.

According to the 4th Century bishop and historian Eusebius of Caesarea, Egialeus, king of the Greek city of Sicyon, west of Corinth in Peloponnesus, began his reign in 2089 BC, 1313 years before the first Olympiad in 776 BC.5,6 If Eusebius is correct, then this king started to reign about 160 years after the birth of Peleg.

Note that Babylon, Egypt, and Greece each spoke a different language. These ancient historians have unwittingly confirmed the extreme accuracy of the biblical genealogies as found in the Hebrew scriptures. The Tower of Babel would have had to have occurred before the founding of these other kingdoms. Babel (Babylon), being in the same region as the Tower, would have been one of the earliest kingdoms, of course.

Of the other kingdoms, the ones most distant from Babel would have been founded the latest. This is exactly what these writers have described. First Babylon, then Egypt, and then Greece were founded.

This tells us something about human nature too! After the Tower of Babel, people were forced to split into groups according to their new language. Humans are basically lazy. They would have moved away only as far from Babel as they had to in order to live in peace. However, population pressure, military force, or the desire to search for "greener pastures" would have induced them to move out further and further. So civilization would have slowly spread by periodic migrations from its centre at Babel.

Although secular historians ignore the events of Babel and the Flood, they assume civilization started in the Middle East, likely near Babylon, and spread out slowly from there. However, they use a time frame much earlier than the time deduced from the biblical chronologies.

An interesting piece of information comes from Manetho, who recorded the history of Egypt in the third century BC. He wrote that the Tower of Babel occurred five years after the birth of Peleg.7 If this was so, then this would confirm that the migrations recorded in Genesis 10 occurred over a period of time, for the apparent leaders of many of these national groups would have been very young children when the confusion of languages occurred.8

I did watch all of these videos and they all suffer from a few major problems.

First, They do not factor modern high level arguments. One of my major arguments is that of time dilation. I don't have the time or characters to explain it here. feel free to research it if you want.

Second, they assume that the flood was 100% global. Again, atheists refuse to do even a modicum of research into the original Hebrew and Greek texts. As I already stated, the original Hebrew "Erets" can be translated as "earth" or "nations." which could mean that since humanity at the time would have been clustered rather close together the flood may have been regional. In fact, since the tower of Babel happened after the flood we can assume that humanity had not yet spread across the Earth which is backed up by the Secular writers I cited previously. Furthermore, Robert Ballard, one of the world's best-known underwater archaeologists, talked about his findings. His team is probing the depths of the Black Sea off the coast of Turkey in search of traces of an ancient civilization hidden underwater since the time of Noah.

See photos from her journey HERE

Ballard's track record for finding the impossible is well known. In 1985, using a robotic submersible equipped with remote-controlled cameras, Ballard and his crew hunted down the world's most famous shipwreck, the Titanic.

Now Ballard is using even more advanced robotic technology to travel farther back in time. He is on a marine archeological mission that might support the story of Noah. He said some 12,000 years ago, much of the world was covered in ice.

"Where I live in Connecticut was ice a mile above my house, all the way back to the North Pole, about 15 million kilometers, that's a big ice cube," he said. "But then it started to melt. We're talking about the floods of our living history."

The water from the melting glaciers began to rush toward the world's oceans, Ballard said, causing floods all around the world.

"The questions is, was there a mother of all floods," Ballard said.

According to a theory proposed by two Columbia University scientists, there really was one in the Black Sea region. They believe that the now-salty Black Sea was once an isolated freshwater lake surrounded by farmland, until it was flooded by an enormous wall of water from the rising Mediterranean Sea. The force of the water was two hundred times that of Niagara Falls, sweeping away everything in its path. Fascinated by the idea, Ballard and his team decided to investigate.

"We went in there to look for the flood," he said. "Not just a slow moving, advancing rise of sea level, but a really big flood that then stayed... The land that went under stayed under."

Four hundred feet below the surface, they unearthed an ancient shoreline, proof to Ballard that a catastrophic event did happen in the Black Sea. By carbon dating shells found along the shoreline, Ballard said he believes they have established a timeline for that catastrophic event, which he estimates happened around 5,000 BC. Some experts believe this was around the time when Noah's flood could have occurred.

Thus all of the arguments made in your videos collapse.

I did't forfeit, you lost because not only can't you read, but you, like your unproved god of contradictions, are completely immoral. And I don't deal with people like you.

And backwardseden surrenders. lovely.

This is what backwardseden does when he loses. He says his opponent is a liar and quits.
