Human blood is blue, blood just turns red when in contact with argon in the earths atmosphere.

I accept your challenge. I will be arguing that our blood is RED. Ok first of all, when you get your blood drawn, the needle is vacuum sealed, so you would see blue blood, BUT it always comes out RED. Also your blood is red because of hemoglobin in your red blood cells and the iron which binds to the oxygen.

However it is not a perfect vacuum, Their is still air molecules in the tube witch includes Nitrogen, Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Argon. so the blood would still be in contact with argon in turn blue even in this reduced environment.

Even if that was the case, how come we don"t have any pictures of actual blue blood, additionally, you didnt respond to the second half of my arguement above

no one has taken any photos because the blood turns red in contact with argon, and since taking a photo from inside your veins is currently not in the area of viable discussion we can only take photos of blood outside the veins or in wounds witch is red due to argon, for the second part you stated that the red color is caused by a protein known as hemoglobin, however hemoglobin is a blue protein not a red proteins, as my evidence please visit.

Are we going to ignore the fact that when we blush or our skin becomes inflamed, the skin is red and not blue? Also, argon is an inert element, meaning it has a full valence shell and won't react with anything.

Blood is always red, actually. Veins look blue because light has to penetrate the skin to illuminate them, blue and red light (being of different wavelengths) penetrate with different degrees of success. The oxygen rich blood is then pumped out to your body through your arteries. It's bright red at this point.

What the hell is with this argon thing. It turns red because of the Hemoglobin and Iron that binds to the oxygen. All blood is red, just different shades of red depending whether it has oxygen or not. There is no evidence that you provided that proves blood turns red because of argon.
