 Pro A nation can't survive if the borders aren't secure and will disingrate and fail like the once infameous Rome. Other countries by building fences /walls on their borders prove that they are effective in stopping invaders from invading a nation. The guy who wrote the book Mexifornia is named Victor Davis Hanson, Not Victor Hansen Davis but the amazing thing is that's because Gov. Lamm got the author's name wrong in the actual speech. I wonder, Does one still get paid for a book endorsement if one gets the author's last name wrong in the actual text of the endorsement? Because. . . . That's what Lamm did here. Snopes fact checked the speech years later and even in Lamm's re-edited copy the name was still screwed up.
There's plenty more to note about Hanson's dire 2003 predictions about immigration in a post-911 world and how none of that turned about to be true: illegal immigration is down 75%, California is prospering, Surpassing the economy of the UK last year. But I expect I am talking to air.
