Communism doesn't work because it contradicts human nature. The motto of Communism is "From each according to his ability, To each according to his needs". This will never be possible as humans won't work if they don't have to. If nobody works, There will be nothing to give and capitalism will return. Every state that tried to create Communism failed. North Korea is starving, Cuba is capitalist, China is capitalist-socialist, USSR fell apart, Etc. This is because communism is a terrible economic system and ignores basic economics such as supply/demand.
So hey, This is my 1st post ever in this website so do go easy on me. EHEHEHEH Alright, Before we discuss anything or speaking anything I would like to define communism. Communism is a theory or system of social organization in which all property is owned by the community and each person contributes and receives according to their ability and needs (Dictionary. Com), In other words, Which you mean a non- capitalistic country. There will be many conditions which the country need to adhere to. 1st condition There must be material gain for the people in the country, Be it in terms of monetary or in free time. Creating a reward based system in a country would increase productivity within a country would boost people morals and appreciation for the country. Why most country fail? It is because they oppress their citizens. As it is both survival and natural instinct to be a team player with in a society, Transforming a society like that isn't too hard. In Singapore, It's proven that race isn't an issue of how people are treated, Is the gains that drive a country. Karl Marx wanted to create a political religion meant to replace the Kingdom of Necessity through the Kingdom of Liberty. He knows that human nature can be fundamentally transformed if given the right push. Thus, We would need to introduce meritocracy within a country. 2nd condition There has to real liberty within the working class people. There mustn't be any form of oppression or propaganda, Such as giving gay people right to get married or freedom of speech, So that correct decision planning or making could be performed and executed. Because this was never implemented in societies where there was enough of a social surplus product that people had leisure time to engage in a really democratic political structure that has to surround any sort of socialist or post-capitalist world. I am too lazy to conclude. If anymore question i will carry on my argument later on |

[Sorry if I'm mean sometimes in my argument. I know its your first time, Please don't take it personally. (: ]
It's amazing. Everything you said was wrong. No, Communism isn't "in other words, A non-capitalistic country". No. That is incredibly wrong. First of all, Define 'capitalism'. Capitalism is an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, Rather than by the state. Socialism isn't capitalist, But neither is it communist. Fascism isn't capitalist, But neither is it communist. So the first thing you said is already wrong. No, Communist countries don't only fail because they opress their citizens. They fail because communism is broken. Have you heard of the USSR food shortages, When communists couldn't produce enough meat and toilet paper because they didn't know anything about supply/demand? This is why communism is broken. In a capitalist system, Businessmen create jobs and businesses and products because of monetary incentives. In a communist system, No such monetary incentives exist. No, Transforming a society like that is VERY hard. People don't want to work. If I gave everybody a million dollars, 99% would quit their jobs and party. That's what happens under communism. It's human nature to be lazy, Why work if you can get stuff for free? How are race and Singapore (completely capitalist, By the way) related to this? I don't know. How is ignoring race equal to changing basic human nature? I don't know either. Guess what? Capitalist countries already have a meritocracy. Shocker, Right? If you are smarter and work better, You get paid more. If you get paid more, You buy more stuff. But in communism, That doesn't happen because communists want equality of outcome. That's why communists want to take money from Bill Gates and give it to some hobo. Too bad Bill Gates worked for decades, Too bad he is a genius, Equality of outcome is more imporant. That's why communism fails: communism itself is anti-meritocratic. Your final argument is just insanely wrong. No, Free speech and complete liberty are impossible under communism. Liberty means the ability to hire workers, And for workers to choose who to work for. Liberty means the ability to not work. Liberty means the ability to critizise communism. None of that is ever possible under communism. OG_troll forfeited this round. |
