School Suspensions should be banned because when a child is out of school they aren't learning. I don't have anymore for right now..

If you eliminate the possibility of a school suspending it's student (and presumably expelling as that is an extended suspension), you will have little recourse against disobedient students. All the other students will have their learning negatively impacted. It could even result in safety issues for the other students, and since those students are FORCED to be there by the socialist state, much of the responsibility for any injuries and/or deaths will rest upon the shoulders of those bureaucrats who follow JanaeS5's suggestions, as well as those like her that lobby for them. Do you want to be responsible for the state's propaganda houses also being slaughterhouses? Columbine is nothing compared to the possibilities here.

Also, it is false that one is "not learning" when one is not in school. I learn far more outside of school than inside.

You're completely ignoring the main substance of my argument, in which i outlined the consequences of your resolution: violence. It is most certainly a debate so long as you wish to debate it. Bring up your objection. Tell me how you intend to counteract violence, how you intend to protect students, without the possibility of removing students from school?

As I stated earlier, I attend school because the state reserves consequences for those who don't. But that is not the core of this debate.

in terms of pure oratorical skill, no reference to degree of agreement?
I've been impressed with Preacherfred, Logical_master, Harlan, and occasionally clsmooth. Easy2know impressed me the most in my debate with him, but frankly he only had 2 debates and hasn't been online in a month, I get the feeling his eloquence comes at a lot more effort cost than others.
