Noodles do not belong in chili. When noodles are put into chili it then becomes a galosh. Which by definition is noodles, Tomato sauce and vegetables.

I'll noodle on over and slurp this debate into action.

Noodles belong where the mind of their owner wills. The mind of the owner determines this based on preference in taste and texture. Objects taken in possession become the owner. Inanimate objects are inherently submissive and flexible. Noodles exclusively do not have belonging or nonbelonging as they are out of a viewpoint to which contrasts belong. The question you made is implied objective because you did not state an opinion. The argument you made is based on personal preference. Personally, I am hungry and will eat this "galosh". This is noodles, But with cockroaches in salad, I would make the same argument(besides the eating it part). Inanimate objects are inherently submissive and flexible.

Noodles do not belong in chili. PERIOD. Chili is not made by preference it is a dish that was made originally with meat, Tomatoes and chili peppers. It has evolved in some ways where it has beans now and some is put on hot dogs. But adding noodles is not one of the ways it has evolved. That is like dogs have evolved from wolves and now we are wanting them to evolve more and breed them with cats.

If your definition of chili is chili by its original recipe then there is no argument to be made, You are simply stating a definition of chili from its foundation. You then say it can evolve. You are giving a preference to a way something can evolve. Foods branch out in different directions with different recipes and ways of cooking them. You define belonging from your personal viewpoint of taste because there are many different variations of chili and you singled out noodles specifically as not belonging. There are the base components to chili and addition of noodles by preference. With a google search I find Chili Garlic noodles.
