Exams are pointless, they are just bigger tests. Why can"t you just have multiple smaller tests which add up to all the marks you need instead of all the stress that comes along with "exams". You study hard and forget everything because of the pressure and stress to get everything right and pass. Exams shouldn"t be a thing

examinations are forms of assessments , a way of testing the proficiency of the individual on the topic learnt. to establish whether they have achieved the aims or not. with the elimination of exams , the weight falls on the smaller tests and thus the stress of performing in exams now falls to the smaller tasks, this does not solve your stress problem now does it?
