One conception that I think is a misconception is that God never hurts a person, that God always makes a person be happy, that God never makes a person want to hurt another person, and that God never makes a person be in pain. It's evident from all the wars, conflicts, disasters, and suffering that occurred throughout history and that occurs currently in this world that God does hurt people. God has tortured people. God has even hurt Jesus Christ.

Your arguement says that God hurts people Right? yup. God hurts..... but has a justified reason . It may be to bring a wrong to a correct path or may be show a person the path of enlightment through the obstacles. thus God istrue in hurting people but it is for their well being . then that hurt could not be called as a hurt which is a boon for someone
Debate Round No. 1

I am unaware of what evidence there is to support your claim that God only hurts people for their well-being. God is all powerful, and can hurt people for reasons other than their well-being. Maybe God thinks it's in the best interest of all people except one person that that one person endures great suffering and pain followed immediately by death. That would kind of be like the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It does not seem that in such a case God hurt the person for their well-being. Maybe God hurts people because God wants one group of people to enjoy and exploit the benefits of making another group of people suffer greatly, to no noteworthy benefit of the group suffering.

As to your last statement, if "hurt" is not hurt, then "hurt" does not qualify as being included in the meaning of my claim that God hurts people. My claim is that God actually and genuinely hurts people.

This topic is a truism. Of course God has hurt people. A better topic would be pertaining to whether or not his actions are just.
