Having a high opinion of yourself leads to arrogance. You become more pompous and full of yourself once your self esteem becomes dangerously high.

The title of this debate is "Having a high opinion of yourself leads to arrogance." While this is true by definition in huge amounts, you can still have a relatively high amount of self esteem and still not be arrogant. Having high self esteem is a good thing; you don't want to always look down on yourself. It can lead to arrogance, but in general, having self esteem will not lead to arrogance.

Reasons for voting decision: Con makes an actual counterpoint which proves Pro wrong. Pro simply states an opinion as if it were a fact.
