IF YOU ARE UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO READ THIS WHOLE POST AND THEN RESPOND TO THE SINGLE QUESTION IT ASKS, GO AWAY.

Atheists love to live under the delusion that they are the guardians of rationality. But how can they hold this title when they cannot even articulate a rational way to know truth from fiction. If they cannot do this, they are literally ignorant and the ignorant cannot guard anything. So, what atheist can give me a rational way atheists know truth from fiction?

Answering this question is the sole purpose for this debate. If you are unable or unwilling to answer this question, do not respond to this debate. Likewise, if you do not believe in reality, believe you make it up or deny it is objective or knowable, or if you do not know how to rationally know truth from fiction, do not respond to this debate. If you are terrified of cross-examination or madly in love with red herrings, do not respond to this debate. If you have responded before, do not respond to this debate. After all, if you had nothing rational to say then, you will having nothing rational to say now.

If all you have is "science", do not respond to this debate, for science relies on the your senses and reason, which begs the question of how you know your senses and reason are valid. Perhaps you can tell me, which is fine, but if the way you validate you senses and reason is with your senses and reason, you lose the debate because that is circular reasoning and circular reasoning is not rational.

if you respond in violation of these rules, you automatically lose the debate.

ViceRegent have you not studied philosophy? There entire fields of philosophy dedicated to skepticism, the doubting of belief, in both science and god(s). The entire idea of your question is based on ignorance, both theists and atheists deal wit skepticism the bible is in many ways as open to disastrous misinterpretation as science.

If people cannot use their "senses" and "reasoning" to defend their understanding, then they would be left using "nonsense". You cannot answer questions or win debates with "nonsense".

ViceRegent, I would have sent this message to you privately, if your settings permitted receiving messages. I'm an atheist. And, I won't need a formal debate to answer your central question, "How do atheists tell truth from fiction?" Fiction is another term for falsity. So, hopefully you won't mind if I use the term "falsity" instead. I think it is more accurate, since fiction is a type writing and falsity is a status of statements.
Observations: When statements are true, further conclusions can be reliably made considering them. When statements are false, further conclusions cannot be reliably made considering them.
People can therefore assess the truth or falsity of a position, by observing whether subsequent conclusions made from it are constantly revised, reimagine, or even abandoned due to unreliability, or whether subsequent conclusions can be "built" upon it reliably. For instance, the position that a God works miracles, and even intervenes to aid people is so unreliable that humans have created a 911 system to reliably respond during emergencies. The faithful believers revise their position that a God intervenes and works miracles with additions like "in God's timing," "in accordance with His will," and other additions when faced with the facts that the position is unreliable.

All you said in your argument is that atheists don't understand anything and that they're too ignorant to understand anything. Please, actually have a reasonable argument.
