What is sentient? If rights is given to sentient being and if robot become sentient than they should deserve rights.

If robots become sentient then the best thing to do is destroy every sentient robot. If we don't do that they will destroy the human race. If we give them rights instead of killing them eventually they will want more and try to murder us. The best way to ensure that they don't become sentient, Though, Is to kill every single one of the autistic scientists who are trying to make artificial intelligence.

You seem to think that robots will automatically decide to destroy humanity. Luckily it is quite simple to prevent a programmed entity from committing acts of violence towards us. In "I, Robot", By Isaac Asimov, The sentient mechanical creatures cannot harm a human. I would add the stipulation that they cannot change their own or each others programming, Otherwise they could just bypass that Rule. Furthermore, I would program them to reject any human's reprogramming that allowed them to harm a human. AI is firmly in our control, And isn't likely to ever develop homicidal tendencies.

This is an interesting topic. I would say yes, Some rights. But the robots would still be considered property. So this could be a long complex post. To keep it short basically they would be like dogs. They are owned, And considered property, However do have some rights. Like right to be rescued during disaster, Or right to be free from harm. That sort of thing.

They will probably decide for themselves.
