I was reading the book "An Omnivore's Dilemma" with my class. Before reading, we did an activity where we had to pick a meal. I picked meal one, a McDonald's cheeseburger, Large fry, and Large Coke. My friend picked Meal 2, Roasted Organic Chicken, Roasted Organic Veggies, Steamed Organic asparagus, Spring Mix Salad, and Organic ice cream w/organic blackberries. No other context was given, we were told that we could pick either meal. My friend asked me why I would pick such an industrial meal, so I said, 'It is simply to expensive to go with organic right now. " My friend and I debated to the point where he said "The human body can go up to a week without food, so you could just eat every other day." So, I decided to bring this debate online. I do not think that it would be worth fasting every other day to avoid all fast food. I also do not believe that this issue has to be an all or nothing issue. However, seeing that it has been made this way, I have adjusted the debate accordingly.

PRO-Fast Food three times a day every day

CON-Organic Food three times a day every other day
