Lol, It was a random number. The debate is if it's possible to sustain a lot more people, not a speciefied number, and it's likely the population in 2050

It is hard to debate a topic so speculative. Scientific consensus for the carrying capacity of earthlings is around 2 billion. My question is what are the advantages of overpopulation in general, 10 billion in specific vs. working towards a sustainable number?

This lacks any arguable parameters, of course it is possible to sustain 10 billion people in a ideal world. Give us a time frame or any parameters e.g. in the next 10 years, if we all still farm and eat animals, if all live above the current poverty lines in certain countries and all have a decent standard of living?
