The draft is meant to forced you against your will to volunteer and if a person respect the Constitution he or she realize that this isn't a part of what is in the 13th Amendment"to the Constitution passed by Senate on April 8, 1864, and passed by the House on January 31, 1865 for it say and declared that "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction but look at the words involuntary servitude in the Constitution in it's separate terms - 1) involuntary which is not voluntary; going against one's free will or choice and 2) servitude which is the state of being a slave or completely subject to someone. It is clear that the Constitution involuntary servitude was abolished and shouldn't be in effect but it is in the form of the actions of the Draft and a person has no choice but to be force to enlist. If a person enlist in the service voluntary the meaning is they wanted to serve and not by force.
