It is recycled becuase it says that on the package. BEAT THAT!!!
Con/neg (I will state it as con because I am used to it that way. please forgive.) Definitions: Toilet paper: tissue like thing that is hung on racks near toilets. School as Universities, High Schools, Middle school, Elementary school, and institutions such as MIT and Penitentiaries. They all try to teach the people inside how to live in society. These may be in ANY country. Recycled as made of 100% materials that have always been used before in products but used again. It MUST be hundred percent because the topic didn't state 10% RECYCLED or 99.99% RECYCLED. It's as if 1 is mentioned... it is not 0.55336 or 1.435. And ALL the toilet paper in a school and schools MUST be recycled, because if there is a stack of toilet papers and 1 of them is not recycled, then you can't say that those toilet paper are recycled. Framework: Con must show why the Toilet paper at school are not completely recycled OR that not ALL schools use recycled. Pro/Aff must EXACTLY show and prove that recycled toilet paper are in every school in every country. Contentions 1. It is impossible to have 100% or completely recycled toilet paper. Nothing in the world is pure. Let me state this simply. If you wash a banana, are all the dirt removed, even microscopic ones? If you grind wood to pulp used to making paper, then is there nothing in there that is not wood? If you get that paper made from it and recycle it to make "100%" recycled paper, is it 100% recycled paper? Answer is no. Water cannot wash microscopic impurities in bananas. Even if you wash wood, there are still some dirt in it and it will be transferred to the paper in the making process. And that impure paper will be used to make "PURE" recycled paper made from "PURE" paper. Therefore, since the paper before recycling is already not pure, that means recycled paper is also not pure, because the material is not pure and in the process of making it, dirt or dust from the air will get into the paper. Therefore, although the paper can be 99.9999999359% "pure", it is not technically 100% recycled. Therefore, the topic is not true. 2. It is impossible for all schools in every country have exactly the same toilet paper. As we stated in the 1st contention, not everything in the world is pure. Even if majority (99%) of all the schools in the world use recycled toilet paper, if other schools (1%) does not use recycled toilet paper, then toilet paper at schools are NOT recycled, because 1% of the school does not have recycled toilet papers. Therefore, unless the pro can guarantee by some concrete evidence and sources that all the school in the world uses toilet paper, then we will have the debate because they couldn't prove that all the schools in the world uses recycled toilet paper. And in con's (MY) framework, we have the debate. Oh, and as a rebuttal, your argument, "IT SAYS RECYCLED ON A PACKAGE" cannot be guaranteed unless you show the concrete statistics that school uses recycled paper. And if it says that 1% or something doesn't use recycled paper, then we have the debate because as our framework, you must show all the schools in the world uses 100%, not 99.999936936963% recycled paper. |

This is my rebuttal speech. My opponent stated that it stated on a toilet paper role that it was recycled. However... 1. As i stated in my framework which my opponents didn't prefer to rebutt, we will assume that they agreed with us. And according to it, recycled isn't recycled unless it says 100% RECYCLED. 2. They must also prove this: they must get statistics saying that every single toilet paper roll in school in every country are recycled. They must get the evidence and the source. Finally, if the judge and the jury may consider, the opponent is very offensive and assaultive. Therefore, please take the opponent's offence in mind when voting. Thank you. |

Because the unorthodox has forfeited the round and his response was offensive, we have nothing to rebuild. Please vote for con. |

Reasons for voting decision: Pro never provided any serious argument, whilst Con provided surprisingly strong arguments, of which I reckon the top debaters of this site would have struggled to rebut. I'm getting very tired of this stupid content removed by moderator joke, too. Conduct to Con for Pro's stupid joke and forfeits.
