Thank you for accepting this debate.

Jesus Christ is definitely one of the most peaceful people to walk on the face of the earth. Jesus was a non-violent man who taught peace, helped the helpless and shared the gospel. His time on earth was documented and written down in the bible.

Now i don't know anything that could possibly make Jesus Christ look like a violent man. So I'd like to hear your arguments on why you think Jesus was a non-peaceful person.

God wrote the Old testament
Jesus is God
Therefore, Jesus wrote the old testament.

Jesus performed the killings in the old testament.

"Did you know, for example, that God:Forced friends and family to kill each other for dancing naked around Aaron's golden calf?Burned Aaron's sons to death for offering him strange fire?Burned complainers to death, forced the survivors to eat quail until it literally came out their noses, sent "fiery serpents" to bite people for complaining about the lack of food and water, and killed 14,700 for complaining about his killings?Buried alive those that opposed Moses (along with their families)?Burned 250 men to death for burning incense?" [0]

Then, there is the entire eternal damnation which didn't come up into the new testament. Yes, there was a Hell in the old testament, but you only went for a year or two. Burning people alive counts as violence in my opinion.

New American Standard Bible

And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
King James Version

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
" [1]

Finally, Jesus will fight the antichrist at Armageddon, including human followers. [2]

" Still, the Antichrist and his minions, both demon and human, will be drawn to Armageddon for the Day of the Lord. "

"Verse 10: However, His (Jesus’) sons (the Two Witnesses) will mobilize and assemble a multitude of (chayil) valiant forces. This speaks of the 144,000 Witnesses that Elijah brings together, and who are “sealed” by the angel of the Lord (note Revelation 7:4-8; 14:1-5). The Two Witnesses shall (bo) “bring in” great judgments that shall “certainly come and overwhelm and pass through.”"

Impact, I have shown three ways that Jesus is a violent person. First, the killings of the Old Testament. Second, eternal damnation. Third, Jesus predicted fight with the antichrist at Armageddon. Thanks for debating.

Jesus was a pretty nice guy, but his dad was a murderous dick.

The Immutability of God is an attribute where "God is unchanging in his character, will, and covenant promises." The Westminster Shorter Catechism says, 'God is a spirit, whose being, wisdom power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth are infinite, eternal, and unchangeable." Those things do not change.
This statement makes Jesus a murderous dick as well.

I will not accept the debate but it is clear that Jesus (the guy I follow) was not 100% peaceful. He could get violent when it was for the right cause, flipping over tables and yelling at people who take advantage of the poor.
