 Pro 1.It IS possible to die from an overdose of alcohol however you cannot die from an overdose of THC(the active ingredient in marijuana). ITS IMPOSSIBLE 2.Alcohol is a VERY addictive substance, WEED IS NOT PHYSICLEY ADDICTING WHAT SO EVER, some people say that its "mentally addicting" but we all know thats bs. 3. For those of us who drink and smoke you know that alcohol is far more intoxicating than weed, by this i mean that a drunk person can't control himself but someone who just smoked a joint. 4.Weed has no withdraw symptoms however there have been reported cases of death from alcohol withdraw(i admit this is an extreme but you get the point) 5.There are far more negative long term effects for alcohol than there are for weed. I'm not saying alcohol is bad and dangerous and that it should be illegal, im just saying that weed is a billion times less dangerous. And the government needs to wake up and stop wasting money on putting us friendly tokers behind bars and focus on more serious things like child abuse, rape, and identity theft, u know things that are actually a problem. http://www.saferchoice.org... As you can see caffeine is the closest thing i can relate to marijuana. It is defiantly more addictive and its withdraw symptoms are worse. ~Yes i know that under withdrawal and dependence marijuana scored a 1, i think this is because marijuana is said to be "mentally addicting" which is bs and we all know that. it also saddens me greatly to see someone voted con even though he never posted, all the more evidence showing that some people just read the topic and vote for whichever side they agree with :(

I support what ur trying to say there but, beacuse it is not the goverment's job to tell us what we can and can't put into our body.
But I don't think this country our any other country is ready for drugs like meth, heroin, cocaine to be legal.
but things like shrooms, LSD, DMT, and marijuana i can see being legalized, because they are relatively safe and do not promote violence.
