This debate is a death match between two equally skilled soldiers against each other. The Pro soldier has a MAC-10, and the Con soldier will have your gun of choice. Whoever has the better gun will win this shootout.

1. This is not a role-play. Our respective guns will be graded in certain categories, which include but are not limited to: range, firepower (RoF), versatility, damage, maneuverability, reload time, recoil, accuracy, and any other categories you would like to add.
2. Guns must fall in these categories: handguns, rifles, SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, and light, medium, and heavy machine guns. No explosives, artillery, or rocket launchers (exception of a detachable grenade launcher such as the M203 [must be attached, not stand-alone]).
3. Attachments and customization are allowed, but it must be something that exists, no death lasers or anything like that. You have to have picture proof.
4. Soldiers are of equal skill, this is a match between the guns.
5. First round is for acceptance and naming and specifying your gun, second round is for arguments for your gun, and 3rd round is arguments AGAINST your opponent's gun.
6.One magazine of ammo only, and if there's an attachable grenade launcher, only one grenade.

My gun: the MAC 10, a 45 ACP G2 ammo [1] submachine gun with the standard issue folding stock [2], a 50 round drum magazine [3], two barrel extensions with 4 rails (quad rail) each [4], an original two-stage Sionics sound suppressor (with all adapters included) [5], an M203 grenade launcher (on lower second rail) [6], a retractable bipod [7] (on lower first rail, farther end) , a forward grip ((on lower first rail, closer end) [8], an ACOG scope system (on upper first rail) [9], and a laser sight (on left first rail) [10].

Some of the pics have the attachment in the wrong position or not on the gun, but they all have the rail system or needed adapters to be fitted in the desired position.

Now you choose your gun and it's attachments.

I use my Milkshake gun. It's better than yours. It fires chocolate milk and chantilly cream. Some people like to make fun of my milkshake, but they can go to hell because they are stupid enough not to realize how majestic my Milkshake gun is. Attachments include a plastic straw from Wendy's and a ripe cherry from Mongolia. Yummy! I like to take my Milkshake to the park and just sit there and plan out the next shooting at the nearest Denny's. It has a nice shell that is shaped like an ice cream cone. Except it is made of glass.

Debate Round No. 1

I know that I got a troll debater accepting this debate, but I will have no mercy on him.

1. Range-
Being that the MAC-10 is an SMG, the range won't be too outstanding, with accuracy up to 50 meters effectively and a max range of 100 meters (non-arched). However, it's meant more for close quarters combat, and has a bunch of factors to make up for this.

2. Rate of Fire-
The MAC-10 has one of the fastest rates of fire out of any firearm. It shoots about 1,090 bullets in a minute at constant fire. That's 18 bullets in one second (with 9mm it's even higher, just an fyi). Most other automatic weapons only fire 600-700 round per minute. With the 50 round drum at constant fire, it would only take 2.777... seconds to empty the drum, totally annihilating anything in its path.

3. Versatility-
With all the attachments I have customized it with, the MAC-10 can be numerous kinds of weapons- a carbine auto rifle, grenadier, medium range sniper, special forces close combat (especially with the suppressor and subsonic 45 ACP G2.) Basically it has a bit of everything, even shotgun if you consider the rate of fire spraying everything.

4. Damage-
Normally you'd be lucky to survive a single standard 45 ACP round, let alone 50 of them coming basically all at once. However, the ammo my M10 is using is G2. This ammo, right after impact, separates into 8 different fragments each going there own way. Each fragment causes a wound channel, severing organs and anything in the way. It's basically a mini-frag grenade with each shot. The only thing is the can jam a bit, but my MAC has good maintenance so it'll jam very seldom. On top of that, the M203 grenade launcher on the bottom first rail can act as a breech weapon or final punch, and good luck surviving a 40 mm grenade.

5. Maneuverability-
The MAC-10 by itself with no attachments is a very compact yet powerful machine pistol, but with all the attachments, it's got a bit more kilos added and will be less maneuverable. Still, it'll be like maybe as heavy as an M1 or at most an M14, nothing like an M60.

6. Reload Time-
I realize now that we only get one magazine, but it's worth mentioning. The MAC-10 can be easily reloaded as it's open bolt, simply press the mag release button, pop in a new drum or stick mag, and pull the bolt back. The M203 would take a bit longer, though.

7. Recoil-
Because it's not a rifle round, the recoil for the MAC-10 won't be that bad. However, if firing nonstop, the gun will move up a bit, so it works better in burst. However, the front grip, added barrel weight, and folding stock, not to mention the bipod in sniper mode will decrease recoil excellently.

8. Accuracy-
Once again, the MAC-10 is only really accurate up to 50meters, but with proper physics a target could be hit from 100-150 meters away. The ACOG scope will be excellent in getting headshots (even if it is a spray and pray weapon by nature). The bipod, stock, and grip will also aid in accuracy.

A machine gun, sniper, CQB, grenadier, and carbine all in one. Tremendous firepower and damage, and I'd like to see your milkshake gun defeat it.

Very fast, yet hard to maneuver and is best a mounted gun. Also prone to jamming and overheating with a rate of fire of 100 rounds per second. More of a mounted gun, so in CQB it is toast.

How about a minigun?

They're not as effective in real life as in video games. For one, even if you set the choke to the most area, the spread isn't that large, maybe a 1x1 foot. Also, even though it's full auto, the rate of fire is only 300 shells per minute, which is about half the speed of some of the slowest assault rifles. The 30 round drum I think is it's best asset, cause at 300 shells per minute, you can fire full auto at a nice six seconds. So yes, extremely effective and a good choice, however, not as effective as some people think.

Your opponent should have chosen the AA 12 automatic shotgun.

Con's link goes to a redirection page, which in turn leads to a Vanilla Bean Milkshake. He doesn't actually have a "milkshake gun" image.

His milkshake gun brings all the boys to the yard.
