No, Natural disasters have been happening since as far back as the dinosaurs to my knowledge, and back then the earth wasn't overpopulated with humans, so I would say that natural disasters didn't occur because of our species, but there may be evidence that says that we may cause them to occur at a quicker rate then normal.
