Obi Wan Kenobi would defeat Harry Potter in a Duel:
1: Obi Wan is Stronger: Obi Wan is strong mentally. He has fought through many wars, has been outnumbered and out- gunned and still makes it out alive. He is fast on his feet and has strong tactics. Obi Wan is physically fit and can do many things under adrenalin (fight off General Greevious, hold his breath in freezing water, take on Darth Maul etc. *Note I am referring to Obi Wan in the Clone Wars and Harry in End film as a young man. 2. Obi Wan has the force: The force is throughout the entire universe and can be used to: Detect danger, see the future, move large and small objects, manipulate peoples minds and bodies. This is a far superior force to magic which has to have a wand to be used or it is not as powerful unlike the force which requires just the mind and spirit. 3: Without the force Obi Wan can fight better: Jedi were trained in use of the Lightsaber. In close Harry could use his wand or fists as efficiently as Obi Wan could use his Lightsaber. All Wizards eventually kick and punch in close range but Obi Wan would be slicing Harry to Pieces with his Lightsaber...
Hello! To start, I dislike both franchises, but oh well. Lets go! Your whole argument can be deflected with one spell; the death spell. Harry has taken on impossible feats and has the POWER OF GOD. He can kill anyone he wishes, aside from moral dilemmas. His disarming spell would render Obi Wan defenceless, and other spells will slow him and restrict his power. In this stage, it is easy for Harry to win! Using his cloak, he will be invincible. Literally no one can see him! There is no way Obi would win. |

Reasons for voting decision: Fail debate. Neither side advanced their case enough to award anything. Had either side forfeited less, they would gain conduct.
This is also not Obi in his prime as seen in A New Hope, where he hacks arms off at the first sign of trouble; based on the number of Jedi he has disagreements with who have intact limbs, it's pretty safe to say the young Obi would not seek to remove Harry's limbs...
