I believe gaming on PC is superior to gaming on consoles because:
1. Gaming on PC gives a much higher skill cap.
2. There is more variety of games on PC
3. You can customize how good the game looks according to your hardware and preference, And generally it will look better than console.
4. You can use controllers with PC, So arguments for consoles that use controllers as a reason are invalid.

Con

I look forward to a good debate and good luck.

1. That is on the developer to determine a skill gap or not.
2. Name examples
3. Well, Its simple isn't it
Pay more-Get more/pay less-get less.
4. Of course, You can spend extra money on a controller. You know why?

Every game works with a controller, Not with a keyboard or mouse. Racing games, RPG games, Etc

Graphics don't matter.

"That is on the developer to determine a skill gap or not. "
Sure, It's up to the developer to have certain skill gaps, However, By being able to use mouse and keyboards, Most tasks you perform in a game can be done faster, And more accurately, Giving you much more room to improve. And improving is a key factor in enjoying games.

"Name examples"
The hundreds of millions of games on Steam.
https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/List_of_Xbox_One_games
Console games have so few games that you're able to list all the games on a list. Sure, Consoles also have indie games, But it doesn't compare to the number of games you can have on PC.

"Pay more-Get more/pay less-get less"
You do get what you pay for, And that's part of my argument. You can build your own PC for close to the price of a console, And you won't have to pay for playing online, And you don't have to pay the price of an entirely new console as harder-to-run games come out. You can just replace parts from your PC and sell the old part. Also, A part of my argument you seemed to miss is that PC gives you the OPTION to customize how you game looks. Ex: motion blur, Anti-aliasing, Ambient occlusion. And you can choose to have more frames than better visuals if you want too. This also ties into your "graphics don't matter" claim, Which I disagree with.

"Every game works with a controller, Not with a keyboard or mouse. "
No, Every game does not "work" with a controller. There are countless PC games like League of Legends, With you need to point to something and click it. Sure, It's "possible" to do that with a controller, But very frustrating. First-person shooter games on controllers only allows you to look around at a certain speed, Unless you increase your sensitivity, In which case you lose control of finer movements because the joystick thing is too small to give the same preciseness as a mouse, So moves like flicking are practically impossible on controllers. On the other hand, You can play racing games and RPG games on the keyboard and mouse just fine, But it is just more enjoyable on a controller, Which PC give you the OPTION to use.

Con

1. "Most tasks you perform in a game can be done faster, And more accurately"
You take a look at ports of console games to PC, You will see that no, The tasks are not done better or faster. They are games on both platforms which has great skill gaps.
There should be a perfect balance of skill gaps which the developer must get right otherwise new players won't come in and the game will die out. Both platforms can deliver this. This was my point that you missed.
2. There comes a point where variety doesn't matter. There is enough variety for console gamers to enjoy. To get your game on steam:

It must work
Pay 50$

THAT'S IT!

Majority of indie games stink. Good indie games get good ports like Undertale.

$5 a month for online play.

"And you don't have to pay the price of an entirely new console as harder-to-run games come out. You can just replace parts from your PC and sell the old part"

There are so many problems you will encounter with a PC. A PC is more expensive. You replace parts every 2 years and is a worse investment compared to a new console every 9 years.

MMOs and MOBAS could work with a controller. No racing games are extremely tough with a PC, Every single rocket league pro plays with a controller.

You can play KAM on a console.

"The tasks are not done better or faster. "
In most situations, Tasks will be performed better/faster. Name as many tasks you can perform better and faster with a controller compared to mouse&keyboard. I will name double the amount of what you list.

"They are games on both platforms which has great skill gaps. "
I think you slightly misunderstood my argument. What I was trying to say wasn't about skill gaps in games, But that using mouse & keyboard gives you the room to improve even more than you can with controllers, Because controllers physically limit the player's ability. The mouse allows you to move your cursor to any location by physically moving it in the direction you want to move it, Which you can do in mere milliseconds, And accurately because you have a large area (the mousepad) to move the mouse, Allowing you to even move you cursor pixel by pixel. For these reasons, Players can improve their skill without any limitations, Which allows you to become better at the game, Which makes the game more fun. (kinda related to how people say it's a disadvantage to allow cross-platform multiplayer)

"There comes a point where variety doesn't matter. There is enough variety for console gamers to enjoy"
No! More variety is always better. You still have all the major titles, But you get to have all kinds of other options as well. Having more options is never a bad thing. With creative products like video games, In which you can make games infinitely distinct, There will always be games that fit people's interests, Because not everyone has the same tastes.

"Majority of indie games stink. Good indie games get good ports"
Look at the front page of steam. They list highly rated games on their home page. The majority of those games are made by independent game developers. You don't seem to understand that if you increase the number of games that are made, The number of bad, Ok, And good games all increase. Bad games are a natural consequence of having more games. So many good games never see the light of day in consoles.

"So many problems you will encounter with a PC. "
Name some examples.

"A PC is more expensive. "
You're not just paying for a gaming console. You paying for a computer. Something you can be productive with, Write essays, Do work, Taxes, Send emails etc. But you also have the functionality of a gaming console. You would paying about $100 more seems reasonable to me.

"You replace parts every 2 years and is a worse investment compared to a new console every 9 years. "
Just because a new generation of GPUs release about every 2-3 years, PC gamers don't need to replace their GPUs that often to be able to play the newest games just fine. The GTX 980, A popular GPU from 2 generations ago still plays pretty much all the current titles at over 60fps. It is perfectly fine for gaming. Also, New consoles aren't released every 9 years. The first Xbox was released in 2001, Then the Xbox 360 in 2005, Xbox One in 2013, Xbox One S in 2016, And Xbox One X in 2017 (yes, The S & X count because we're talking about hardware upgrades). The average release for a new generation for Xbox is 4 years. With the same process, It's 5. 5 years for PlayStations. The average becomes 4. 75 years. Being able to buy improvements incrementally like with the PC is much better than being forced wait a while to upgrade anything, With the only exception being upgrading the storage. So in fact, The PC is a better investment, Especially when you consider the "$5 a month for online play". So that's 4. 75 years, Or 57 months, Which is $285. That easily compares to the price for a new GPU if you consider you'd sell your previous one and that you're actually upgrading.

"MMOs and MOBAS could work with a controller"
MMOs and MOBAs don't work with controller! There have been poor attempts to make them work, None have made sufficient controls for them with controllers. There aren't enough buttons on a controller to make games of those genres work to be as enjoyable as on PC. And sure, Racing games are better with controller, Which a PC allows, But what's even better is a real steering wheel, Accelerator/brake etc setup. Something you have much more options for on PC.

"You can play KAM on a console"
I don't know what that is.

Con

You can name 0 on pc because very pc is different,

The skill gap is not in controls. It is in functions and balancing. It is on the developers.

Steam Greenlight the king of indie games that are very bad. The quality control is what matters.

Many good games go to console. Good games are also very subjective. The Console exclusives are a lot better than a couple good indie games.

Blue screen of death, Viruses and virus control, Slow computer, Etc, Etc.

Also, There are about a million different accounts on a PC and you have to buy a mic.

No, The X and S should not count since the games on those must work on the original. The average is expanding and is not 4. 75.

So, The GPU is the only part of a computer.

GTA IV is graphically worse than GTA 5. The parts to upgrade a PC and its OS is more than consoles.

Yes, They do work. No serious attempts have been made because of the cost and companies are afraid of experimenting.

KAM is a keyboard and Mouse.

Consoles are more relaible, Cheaper, And laid back
