BoP is on me to demonstrate that Adolf Hitler is worthy of a posthumous Nobel Peace Prize. Quick and easy debate! 4,000 Words, 72 hours. Round 1: Acceptance & Rules Round 2: Arguments & Rebuttals Round 3: Arguments & Rebuttal Round 4: Closing Rebuttals (no new arguments/brand new rebuttals) No semantics. Good Luck! |

Raymond, I am sorry for wasting your time, but I am going to drop this debate. I have overloaded myself with debates and this resolution is too hard given my time constraints. I have a half-done argument but it's simply not feasible for me to do another 2 1/2 rounds of it.
I'm really sorry, I wish you best of luck in the finals. Please vote Con.
It's no problem, though I would enjoy debating you sometime in the future, not necessarily this topic. Anyway, let's just post to finish the debate. Best of luck on your other debates! |

How much wood can a wookchuck chuck if a woodchuck can chuck wood?
"He'd chuck 361.9237001 cubic centrimeters of wood per day, which is the wood that a woodchuck COULD chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood." (http://scientopia.org...) |

Reasons for voting decision: Concession... Interestingly, the peace prize has gone to men who are arguably worse than Hitler (certainly no better), such as Yasser Arafat in an attempt to encourage him to be less of a terrorist (anyone want to bet how many suicide bombings the prize money funded?)

Reasons for voting decision: No arguments, no sources, no grammar mistakes, so I'll just give con his conduct point :)
I don't know why one would want to put themselves through Men Kampf, but I reckon we are almost equal on our knowledge of the man, perhaps you more so.
However, the argument you present would cause you to share a BoP, which automatically makes it a weaker argument. All one has to do is refute the claim that Adolf Hitler is worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize, to win the debate, and Pro has the full BoP for that.
I also have the highest ELO of those who want to debate it. I haven't debated too much recently, but this would be a good comeback for me. :)
I've read that book, plus Mein Kampf and the Leuchter report, three times. :P pick me, I'll be arguing that Adolf Eichmann is more worthy than Adolf Hitler.
Pick me!!!
