Pass all the gun control laws you want, people can still do significant damage by an illegal gun or using another weapon such as a homemade bomb. To protect students and faculty, there should be stronger security in schools, which includes guards with guns and (ideally) teachers that have guns as well. People object to that though, so what exactly is the problem with this idea? Your job is to explain.
If schools had stronger security, it would only affect the school district a tiny bit. If schools had better security, the kids there would most likely start to fear school, as in believing it is a place of violence. Please note this though: I am not against schools having stronger security; I only believe stronger security would only help the said school barely any. |

Thank you for debating. So you said "the kids would most likely start to fear school." Why is that? Maybe the guns shouldn"t be out in the open for kids to see but they should be there. If it helps the schools, even a tiny bit, then what"s the problem, and what is the cost too? It could prevent a shooting.
There would not be any problem with increased security. But, all in all, there will probably still be some kids who either steal the guns, or commit a similar crime. Overall, I think this would only affect the schools who have little/no security. |

I think that problem can be solved by locking the guns away from the students, in a hidden place perhaps. Do you agree that it would have a positive impact on the schools that have little security?
