 Pro  Con Operation Protective Edge is causing the unneeded deaths of innocent women and children. They could do pin-point shots, or put troops on the ground instead of shellings and this would lower the the civilian death rate; this does not occur with regards to Protective Edge. Since one should never continue the unneeded deaths of innocent people, then Isreal should not continue with OPE. |

Reasons for voting decision: equal ff, but con at least had one assertion
Look at the top debaters, how they frame an argument and present a debate. I love choosenwolf for his debates and presenting them. Lifemeansgodisgod is great for looking at what not to debate (you can see him off my debate list). doomswatter is great at debates as well, though he usually responds.
Generally you present a term or claim "there is a god" "its wrong for isreal to bomb pal". . . if there is a term that might not be clear, quote it or reference it, Set the terms for winning, or bop. . .
It's just that it's my first debate here, and im not familiar with the mechanics yet, i thought that text box was a description of the debate, and i was wrong.
