I feel with the right training and the right padding, women should be allowed to play in the NFL.
Definition 1 - Females are defined as having significantly less body mass, less muscle and skeletal strength. Definition 2 - Males are defined as having significantly larger body mass, more muscle and skeletal strength. Definition 3 - Males & females are expected to be natural, unaltered with no boosting agents such as synthetic steroids. Definition 4 - The NFL is defined as the highest level of professional, American, football league with only male players. Point 1 - Physically, females are inferior to males when it comes to full contact sports. Point 2 - A man hitting, pushing, tackling or blocking a woman would create a higher chance of injury for the woman. a - Broken bones, torn ligaments, torn muscles, concussions, etc b - Even with advancements in gear, injuries are on the rise, including concussions for men. c - Because of male egos, some men would be deliberate in trying to harm a woman. d - Women would suffer greater injuries if they played against men. Point 3 - A woman would have a lesser chance of pushing, tackling or blocking a man, thus making for poor play. Point 4 - Men make testosterone (androgen), which increase strength and size of muscles and skeleton strength. a - Steroids allow men to be more mentally aggressive and brutal. Point 5 - Women make estrogen which reduces strength and size of muscles and skeleton strength. a - Some women may have higher testosterone levels making them more aggressive, but this will not make up for lesser physical attributes. Point 6 - Because of the above points, females would need modified NFL rules to protect them. a - Changes to salary caps would be needed as teams are often short on money to make deals with players who would perform better. Point 7 - Fans, while enjoying the initial novelty of women playing in the NFL, would eventually grow tired of their presence. mmqb.si.com/2013/12/04/nfl-injury-increase-2013/ www.wcpo.com/entertainment/nfl-severe-injuries-increased-every-year-from-2009-to-2012 www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000146837/article/lauren-silberman-stages-pointless-sideshow-at-regional-combine en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estrogen en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testosterone www.nytimes.com/2008/05/11/magazine/11Girls-t.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2&hp& www.asanet.org/press/women_and_professional_football.cfm www.webmd.com/osteoporosis/living-with-osteoporosis-7/male-men www.healthline.com/health-slideshow/most-surprising-testosterone-facts |

Reasons for voting decision: Pretty sure women in the NFL would lead to a lot of broken necks and bones.
