No, teachers should not be allowed to take our personal property off of us.

Teachers should be able to confiscate students cellphones, as long as the student gets their phone back by the end of the day or class.
If a student is getting distracted, or not using their phone in the right way, then they aren't learning as much as they could be. And it's the teacher's job to make such everyone learns as much as possible. If a student isn't getting the education they could be, then the teacher has a right to temporarily take their phone so they can be educated they best they can be.

ShaunTakesOn I agree with you 100%. There are too many pervs on-line who just prey on children. Kids don't need phones, We grew up without phones in the past and we are fine. They are just a distraction.

Schools provide everything you need to learn what they intend to teach. Phones serve no practical purpose at school.

In my honest opinion, children should not even own phones.

Yes teachers should be taking the phone off of you, because you are texting, and playing games and watching youtube videos instead of paying attention to the teacher who is trying to teach you something so you don't end up a complete moron and have to work at Wal-Mart for the rest of your life.

Play with your phone after class

According to the law, no, but the teacher can deem you a trespasser and you have to leave.
