Would it be a waste of money to teach crabs to read?

We should teach crabs to read so they can learn how to speak. Maybe one day the crabs will be able to speak their thoughts and tell us how to help the human race. Also, if you don't like someone then you could have a crab go into their house and take notes and spy on them. Crabs are extremely useful and would be even more helpful if they could read.

Studies have shown crabs make snakes super violent. We can't have that.

That argument has nothing to do with teaching crabs to read. Snakes are enemies to crabs. It is just the natural cycle. But teaching crabs to read can really improve the crab's well being as well as human's. But if we taught crabs to read then they could tell the snakes to stop.

Maybe in a perfect world where snakes and crabs speak the same language and no one steals string cheese.

If foreign people can learn to speak America and vice-versa then crabs and snakes can learn to speak the same language. Also maybe snakes steal crabs string cheese. Maybe it's not the crab's fault; maybe it's the snake's. Also, crabs are probably pretty smart. They could probably just chill with you if you need a friend. Don't victimize crabs. Let them read.
