Do you think that we should ban Plastic bags why or why not?

Plastic should not be "banned" in general.

Plastic should be accompanied by high fees on companies that use it to cut costs. The money collected from those fees should be directed entirely to clean-up efforts and the push towards making products with 100% recycled and/or decomposable materials that are easy to separate.

Yes, Plastic is an institutional foundation of infrastructure and products. Still there's something to said about whether the spread of materials and how we go through them are handled in a way so deleterious to the natural environment that it even becomes a problem for Humanity.

My biggest problem with the typical environmental mindset is the tendency to get too "nitpicky, " wanting to micromanage private individuals' behaviors or ability to obtain things like straws or bags. These kind of problems really need to be addressed at a higher level of society (manufacturing practices, Cleanup efforts).

Plastic is the basis of society. Most bags have plastic in it anyways, And some bags are even worse. We can't ban it completely, But we can provide a better and cheaper alternative to slowly phase out the use of plastic. We can't completely ban plastic bags, It's gonna kill the society.
