Social Media has saved millions of lives. March 2009, an avalanche separated 2 people from their group during a mountain climb. Using google maps, Twitter, and Facebook, they were able to communicate to the lost hiker and they rescued her. (The other person fell down the mountain and the body wasn"t found.)
But not only individuals were being rescued. Augest 2016, TEN THOUSAND ex-workers were starving to death. A single photograph brought them to the attention of the government. They got rescued by the government, and there was no casualties! I"m sorry this is short, but it is all true, and I hope I have opened your eyes.

Social media is not important, it is a waste of time that sucks the life and cells out of your brain. social media along with other applications is too addictive for people. people get started but when they start they don't stop.

Social media does no good if you were kidnapped. They kidnapper just have to throw away your smartphone and your smart watch, and go in a difference vehicle than your own.and like i said before social can also cause harm. It not all good like you claim.

Sorry for the short idea, but social media is literally a LIFE SAVER. What will happen when you get kidnapped? How are you to contact anyone without a signal? Everyone can see everything on social media, and that"s what you are counting on.

I think you are giving way too much credit to social media. It can cause death too. Like driving into a deadly accident, while on your facebook or whatever site. It can also cause suicide, and it can cause misinformation. So it not all good.
