 Con One reason that they should is that teens are a powerful spending group. In 2006 alone, twelve to nineteen year olds spent $179 billion in the United States. If you were to create such a ban, that number would decrease quickly and steadily. The country certainly needs the money spent by this age group. Of course your parent can't accompany you to work at the mall, which is why he suggested badges - duh! But my point is, this would be a wonderful opportunity for parents and their kids to spend time together and give them guidance so that when they are old enough to go to the mall alone, they will know the right way to act there.

Strange..I never heard of this nationwide debate before, and frankly, I have a hard time believing it....banning teens from malls....what kind of absurdity is that?? What about the convenienve store? What about the supermarket? Should teens be banned from those also? Nonsense.
