Actually, spending this much money is OK, because we could get a high-quality education by spending those Money. How do you think about this??
Families spending far too much. The average Gangnam family is spending over 1,000,000 won every month on education. The cost of a year overseas is estimated at around 50,000,000 won. These are crazy sums of money. No wonder the birth rate in Korea is now so low! Families are making huge sacrifices to put their children through college. Should they really have to? |

Spending much money on the education is only their choice. If they do not want to spend that much of money, they won't. So, I think that your argument is WRONG INDEED!!
Not all private education is worthwhile. Of course you are currently enrolled at a very fine private academy. But not all hagwons are equal, and some people are selling courses that students don"t really need. Many hagwon classes are only for the purpose of passing exams and will be of no use in later life. |
