This shall be rather interesting. Personally, I used to be in favor of TULIP, but I've been clobbered enough times in debates by my debate mentor to see the faults of it. From what I've seen from both debaters, I'd say Preacher has this in the bag, but I've been wrong before. :D

Pro THE TARTAR DISCLAIMER :) for the purposes of this debate, both participants agree-or-at-least-pretend-to-agree that the bible is completely true. Total Depravity of Man Unconditional Election Limited Atonement Iresistible Grace Perseverance of the Saints Report this Argument Con I will accept this debate in the interest of presenting an opposite view. The premise "TULIP is true" would infer that it is an absolute truth and based upon a Biblical foundation. I will present sufficient Biblical evidence to at least question the absoluteness of the Calvinistic doctrine contained in TULIP. While I would agree that the Bible is completely true, it is open to interpretation. One must consider who is the one speaking; who it is written to; who is the one speaking talking to; what was said; why was it said; where did this happen; when did it take place; could this happen again; and, how does it apply to me.
