The Age to buy a long gun should be raised to 21 just like handguns.

In light of the recent controversy within the sphere of 'guns and shootings', some corporate entities have seen fit to raise the age of firearm purchases for long guns to 21 years old, instead of the Federal limit of 18. While I do support their right to exercise whatever internal policies they chose to implement (so long as they don't break the law) what we are examining here is the question of, "If this was rolled up into a bill and put before the US Government, would it be a good or bad idea to approve it?"

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm against this firmly, just as many other people in my state and country. This is because this bill would have no effect on any of the current shootings that it pledges to protect us from and only serves to take more firearms from younger people who are of age.
