Tom Brady has 5 rings and just led the underdog Patriots to ANOTHER Super Bowl. This guy is nuts.
And if you want to argue that Jordan is better then think about how many weapons he had. Scottie Pippen and guys like that to take the pressure off of him if he needed. Brady didn't really have that much talent to work with this year especially since Edelman got suspended for like 6 games and Gronk wasn't 100% all year long either. That left him with no-name receivers with little to none experience in the NFL. Later in the year the Pats obviously picked up Josh Gordon but he left because he voided the contract or something like that. So yea
Tom Brady is undeniably the GOAT of football. However, He is not the GOAT of all sports. He did lead his team to another Super bowl with no amazing talent other than his own, But he is not the only person to do that in sports. LeBron James has done that twice in his career and has been to the NBA Finals 8 times in a row. He may only have 3 rings, But that is still an impressive run in the finals. Michel Jordan had 6 rings which are 1 more than Tom Brady. Jordan also was undefeated in the NBA Finals. He went 6/6 on trips there. Babe Ruth was also insane. He hit home runs whenever he wanted and also did not strike out much. Tom Brady also only lead half his team. On defense he is powerless. He also can't move well out of the pocket so if the O-line is not good then he will get shut down very quickly. LeBron James led his team on and off the court at all times. |

Tom Brady's line this year consisted of David Andrews, Marcus Cannon, Shaq Mason, Trent Brown and Joe Thuney, And of all of those guys I've only heard Shaq Mason's name. Tom was able to get the ball out quickly a lot of times at the beginning of the season but the o-line still gave up a good number of sacks. I mean yes, Recently in the playoffs the o-line hadn't allowed a sack in something like 90 dropbacks but still. Also, Tom Brady got picked 199th in the 6th round of the 2000 NFL draft so he really was just another quarterback to all of the coaches and people around him, Not including family. With this, He still managed to solidify him as the greatest QB ever along with the greatest player in sports history. Michael Jordan and Babe Ruth got a ton of exposure and were widely recognized as icons in their respective sport whilst Tom had to overcome way more adversity when he started.
