The Internet brings more harm than good as people get bullied almost everyday. Bullying shouldn't affect anyone but some minds are weaker than others. The Internet can also be the cause of rape, suicide and murder. Cyber-bullying has a lower chance of the victim committing suicide, getting raped or murdered because it's not as direct as the murder or rapists talking to them online and then finding their address to kill or rape them. Although the Internet has the ability to make your essays sound better than usual, it is still a dangerous place as anyone and everyone can find out information about you without you even knowing.
I disagree. The Internet brings more good than harm as it has useful information . Internet helps teenagers on their education - homework, research and watching videos. If you have any friends or relatives living on other countries, internet is the best place for you to talk to them. There are a lot of websites that can let you communicate with them for example Twitter and Facebook. In a nutshell, internet is very useful for people living on this planet. |

That's the good side of it but in reality, bad things happen way more often and it's inevitable. You may think that you're having a conversation with your relative or friend but actually you're conversing with a serial killer or rapist. It may sound exaggerating but things like these do happen in real life. Most of the time people would say "Be positive, these things wont happen to you" but really, deep inside you know it might. Thus, one should never feel ultimately safe one the Internet.
That's the bad side of it but in reality, good things happen way more often. We have to be careful on who we are talking to. If you know how to take care of yourself, you'll be safe. |

Reasons for voting decision: This argument came down to the BoP. Pro's unsupported assertions were sufficiently rebutted by Con's similar assertions. Since Pro failed to fulfill the presumptive BoP, arguments to Con. As always, happy to clarify this RFD.
