In today"s generation, using the internet is like the second nature of us. However, most of us do not know that Internet has more harmful effects than good effects. In the Internet world, there are lots of things that could happen. For example, people could get scam,people could be cyber-bullied and could get easily addicted to games online till they would forget everthing but the playing game.
I as the con, agree that the internet brings more advantages than the disadvantages .The internet can be helpful to people in many different ways, users who use the internet wisely would make the internet a better place for everyone to use. The internet is easy to use and is easy to access for all different ages, old or young. It is free too. People enjoy using the internet as it provides people with lots of stuffs.
Even said so , the Internet is still harmful as it is a threat to people being cyber-bullied. Networking sites like facebook , twitter, instagram are sites that could lead to cyber-bullying. All it takes for cyber-bullying to occur is by a comment. Cyber-bullying could lead the person being bullied to depression or worst. Hence the internet is brings more harm than good .
The internet is helpful for users like students who have to do a research to finish up their homework or project given by teachers. Students also use the internet for reading books which they are not able to find in the library, this books can help students to master their language even better. The internet provides an easy access to all users of different age. Fasten things up and would not take a long time to finish up the things people were supposed to do. Adults also can use the internet, for woman they can do their shopping online or even find different type of recipes to cook for a big event coming up. For man, they can checkout latest sports trends on the internet and etc. People this days are using the internet to contact with their friends too. There is always a report where people can do this to report to the owner of the website or the person can also block people so that there will be lesser cases of bullying this days. People enjoy using the internet. Hence this is why the internet brings more good than harm.
The internet is harmful as it is easier for people to get scam or being bullied. It also could be a threat of privacy. Most of the networking sites requires our personal information . Personal information are as listed , address , phone number , bank or credit card account number,family information , location and more. If people were to obtain these information , for example phone number people can make up a lie and threatened the person to pay a ransom or else they will reveal a secret. Which would lead to scam.
The internet can be a better environment for everyone to use, everyone has a part to play in the internet, there will always be consequences for the bad things that people do on the internet but people are trying to avoid being bullied or creating problems online. If users are being bullied online they can always approach someone that they can trust to help them out. This way people will start to use the internet much wisely and carefully.
