Venial sin is forgiven during mass.

- I am going to begin this argument by saying that all sins are relevant and connected to each other, Regardless if they are mortal, Or venial; whether a sin is low-impact or in contrary, More deadly, Should never be excused or judged lightly.
Allow me to put this into perspective by using the example of a person who becomes excited at the thought of when his next gambling expedition will take place, Or just gambling in general; that person should reconsider their values if they think that such a thing is excusable; they must think again because it is the ripple effect, The "chain reaction" that becomes set in motion that is problematic. Needless to say, A gambler's habit affects everyone around, Causing unnecessary pain and worry, And not to mention the negative aura/influence that comes with it. Additionally, A small action can cause a large effect; by the same token, Just because a phenomenon is not mentioned in the 10 commandments does not mean that it isn't immoral and/or unrighteous.

- Next, Immoral acts such as cursing (even if it's just banter or sport); an adult believing that they are entitled to physically/verbally take strikes at a child; otherwise, Something more grave such as playing with someone's heart or mind either by dishonesty, Deception, Manipulation, And/or by any other means, Are all considered sins even if they aren't mentioned in the 10 commandments.

- Fundamentally, The reason why I believe that all sins are connected is simply in honor to the butterfly effect, That small causes have large effects on the outcome, I. E. The Bigger Picture.

- Let us take a moment to compare the actions of a child/immature person vs. The actions of an elder/a mature person; in addition, Whether or not age is a factor is of little to no relevance, Because childlike behavior exists amongst society regardless of color, Gender, Or sexual orientation. Without further ado, Let us begin by taking a minute to analyze the negative effects that venial sins has on humanity and the world from these two statements.

- Children/people with a higher energy level are very easy to detect and differentiate from an average/mature day-to-day person; the reason being is because kids usually understand only 2 things: eat and play. Sometimes, They can get carried away and be a bit too much, Causing accidents, Disrupting those around them, And become a nuisance to society. They are quick to become angry, And are easily tempted to do wrong when they don't get what they want, So they might curse, Steal, Harm, Or even play with other's emotions to benefit themselves; furthermore, Kids believe that they are entitled to something more and are usually annoying to say the least, Because of their persistent, Provoking, And troublesome negative aura that is being exerted. Nonetheless, They are not to blame for their actions; call it ignorance or whatever you'd like.

- Now, I will be talking about the older members of society/mature people; unlike a child, A mature person does not easily become tempted; they are able to control their energy levels and exercise self-control. Additionally, They are more than aware of their surroundings and are able to differentiate between right and wrong; they are the opposite of ignorant and are more than wise enough to understand the concept of righteousness, Despite what any commandments say, Or doesn't say. Furthermore, They are wise to know that all sins are equal, That they are connected.

- Next, I will be talking about two of the most powerful people who ever existed changing history for better or worse, Hitler and Jesus. I'm also going to be centralizing my core idea for this debate by saying that, "no one is born evil"; only through developed false ideas of righteousness; the inability to differentiate between good and bad, Right from wrong; and, What is considered excusable/inexcusable are matters that put society at a position to reconsider values, And change for the better. . .

- First, Let us take a minute to analyze the story of Adam and Eve.
Life changed the moment Eve was deceived by a snake that told her to eat the apple and become wise like God; she then tempted Adam to do so as well and he did just that R13; call it love, Or whatever. Thus, They were punished and then everyone's lives were made difficult from then on because of what had happened. Moreover, Jesus died on a cross to save mankind from their sins for the main reason that people didn't want to follow him; that he hung out with outcasts and sinners, And was too good. Allow me to put this into perspective: He was crucified to fundamentally set the example for humanity, Because of their ignorance, Jealousy, And self-righteous principles (disobedience). In different words, Despite the story of Adam & Eve and Jesus, People still chose to remain to exercise their false idea(s) of right and wrong, To follow their made up principles, Ultimately leading to the punishment of humanity due to the blindness, Ignorance, And misguided concept of sin, I. E. What is excusable/inexcusable.

1. Eat the apple because a snake said so.
2. Crucify Jesus to simply disobey and rebel.

- In contrast, Let us take a look at Hitler; this figure of a person was and still is considered to be one of the most
evil people in history. However, Let us not blame him, Hate, Or even despise him for who he became. He was just like any other ordinary person until something minute/venial set in motion a powerful vibration that would change this man forever. Additionally, This ordinary person wasn't so ordinary anymore. He became extraordinary. . . Extraordinarily evil, To say the least.
At most, He was just a person who made the world that much worse by his actions during his time on Earth and when he departed, Leaving his immoral, Sinful, Wicked vibrations behind. As a result, It is safe to say that everyones' vibration was affected too from that point on. As we can see, This sudden change in hitler's thought process happened so fluidly and naturally that we can confirm the effectiveness of the butterfly effect. In this case, We are talking about the awakening of an evil life force that fundamentally began from a normal human being that would remain a figure of influence among many who hears about his story, Forever.

- My concluding thoughts for this round will simply state that the graveness of sin remains the same regardless of timeline; all sins are connected no matter the direction that mankind chooses to take; star-crossed atrocities such as the crucifixion of an extraordinary man like jesus and the becoming and fall of Hitler will undeniably occur time and time again. For this reason, Let me emphasise that all sins are to be accounted for when it comes to confession (not just mortal), As the root of evil is deep-seated in the "excusable" sins, I. E venial as well.

I am not saying that you should only go to confession for mortal sins. I am saying that you should mainly go to confession when you have a mortal sin because you are not able to receive the Eucharist, Because Mary does not want to give her son to a dirty human. Venial sins are small sins like hitting your siblings. That can be forgiven at mass and is not as grave as when you act on purpose. Here is a list of sins and the link.

I know that you should confess all of your sins, But you should mainly go to confession for the mortal sins because venial sins can be forgiven at mass and God knows that you are sorry.
Three conditions are necessary for mortal sin to exist:

Grave Matter: The act itself is intrinsically evil and immoral. For example, Murder, Rape, Incest, Perjury, Adultery, And so on are grave matter.

Full Knowledge: The person must know that what they"re doing or planning to do is evil and immoral. For example, Someone steals a postage stamp, Thinking that it"s only worth 50 cents. She knows that it"s sinful, But if she"s unaware that the stamp is rare and actually worth a $1, 000, She"s not guilty of mortal sin but of venial sin.

Deliberate Consent: The person must freely choose to commit the act or plan to do it. Someone forced against her will doesn"t commit a mortal sin. For example, A woman told she"s giving a minor shock to another person who in fact is administering tortuous electrical jolts is not guilty of a mortal sin (although she may feel guilty if she finds out the truth).
Venial sins are any sins that meet one or two of the conditions needed for a mortal sin but do not fulfill all three at the same time, Or they"re minor violations of the moral law, Such as giving an obscene gesture to another driver while in traffic.

A mortal sin is the complete turning away from God and embracing something else in place. It"s deadly to the life of grace, Because it insults the honor of God and injures the soul of the sinner. Mortal sin is like a malignant tumor or a critical injury that"s lethal to the spiritual life.

Venial sin only weakens the soul with sickness but doesn"t kill the grace within. Venial sins aren"t deadly to the life of grace, But like minor infections in the body, If casually ignored and left untended, May deteriorate into a more serious condition. For example, Someone who tells so-called white lies commits venial sin, But if he does it long enough, It"s much easier for him to be tempted to tell a big lie later on that would in fact be a mortal sin, Such as cheating on a test or on his income tax return.

This is the definition of a mortal sin and a venial sin. Venial sins are not as grave because they only cover 1 or 2 of the points and not 3 which means that they are not as grave.

According to the Roman Catholic Church, It is encouraged that people confess because of the benefits that come from it.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that a mortal sin requires a subject matter that is considered to be grave; otherwise, It remains a venial sin. Additionally, Such an action, If it were committed remains venial if the act was not too serious (which is reasonable). However, Intentional "ignorance" and "hardness of heart" increase the voluntary character of sin. Furthermore, No one is deemed to be "ignorant" of the principles of moral law, Which are written in the conscience of every person.

In addition, It is also believed that responsibility for an action can be nullified by: "ignorance, Fear, Habit, And/or other psychological factors". Also, While one is inebriated (i. E drunk) may lack awareness and consent.

Basically, There are many "factors" that excuse sin. Thus, As we can clearly see, There are many fallacies in regard to what is and/or should be considered a sin that needs to be confessed.

Next, According to your list of sins that "need to be confessed", Would it be fair to say that most sins regardless of its gravity (i. E severity) "need" to be confessed; by simply referring to your list of what is perceived as immoral mannerism, Actions, And/or attitudes, Would it be justified to confirm my original point to be true: "all sins are connected/relevant"?

Through a simple exchange of beliefs, We are able to come to an understanding that all sins stem from a root cause (i. E a beginning). Therefore, It is safe to say that most sins are considered deadly and should be considered to be a grave matter, Because all sins committed are fundamentally selfish acts (whether ignorance is a factor or not), Against the relationship between human and God. . .

Something "deemed" insignificant or deemed grave is irrelevant; rather, It is best to not debate about such a topic in the first place as all sins can either be a direct or indirect attack against the very relationship with God (whether awareness is a factor or not is of no excuse). If one thinks that by simply attending mass will their "venial" sins be pardoned is of their own personal belief(s) and not by God's expectations of what moral conduct/righteousness should be as it is believed that ALL sins committed are sins against God.

Attention: Please take a look at the list provided in my source when referring to things that are considered grave subject matters.

On your source, It says that mortal sins are worse than venial sins. However, I have been talking to my dad, And he says that all sins should be confessed. I think that you should make confession a priority. If you committed a mortal sin I think that you should make sure to put confession on your schedule. In final, Whatever you say, I believe that confession is mainly for mortal sins, Not venial sins.

I believe you answered your own question. All sins must be confessed. In addition, By going with what third party said (that is, Your father), We can come to the conclusion that regardless of the type of sin one must confess.
Last, "One should think again about their values if they believe going to mass will pardon them of their lighter sins".

Gods, As perfect beings, Need nothing. They have no deficits. Praying is pointless because God knows everything and if God is perfectly good and just, Then our prayers asking it to help others are pointless: God will help those that deserve it without or without our persuasive attempts. Praying is for ourselves and is essentially a self-help psychology disguised as religious behaviour. Also as God is everywhere it doesn't need us to go to specific places to do specific things: religious buildings are also purely a facet of human relations, Not divine requirement. Intelligent humans realized this long ago - Aristodemus and Socrates in the 4th century BCE discuss that the idea of the divine is "too exalted to need worship". The reason we do so are social. God can tell us anything we need to know, And if there are things we need to know, A perfectly good-god would tell us directly. Therefore evangelism is pointless, Merely a social exercise that feeds the ego of the evangelists. God doesn't need prophets such as Jesus, Muhammad, Or magical tricks such as the Resurrection, To tell the world what it wants the world to know. If it is good for us to know something, God would tell everyone instantly and clearly, Not via 3rd-party magical tricks and public relations stunts. God, As all-powerful and the facilitator of our personalities and consciousness, Does not need the operation of "souls" in order to preserve us after death. All these things can only be believed in by those who don't understand that God(s), If they exist, Are perfect beings. If you strip away all the nonsense from god-belief, The result is called deism, Which is the belief in God but without religion. Deism is the most sensible form of god-belief. We should reject all worship of the gods because as perfect beings they were in need of nothing. The idea of God is pretty much incompatible with all religious dogma and practice.

God cannot possibly want anything: because as soon as he wants, The thing is done. We don't need to "behave", Because if god really exists and he saw the potential of real evil, He'd kill off the DNA and replace a good one before he is born. AND NO, GENETIC ENGINEERING EXISTS. You could really remove evil parts of DNA. If god need to make a board of sin that just means he is

1) Lazy
2) Hypocrite, Because he is lazy
3) Words does not match actions
4) Lies, Because he is claimed to be the ultimate mastermind but did not see the obvious solution to our greatest problems, Or at least the meaningless barriers he set for us for ruling and not free peace of mind.

I am a rebel, Yes a rebel can get anything. If god prevents rebelling from ANYTHING, Then how did it exist? It violated the religion there at its creation so much as Christ died. Christianity started of rebellion but ended up with a ban on that. Such hypocrites are in charge or writing the bible. If Christ obeyed for the law at that place, He would not die so soon and Christianity would never even exist. There are a lot of things that make Christianity unravel as a whole, And the believers of this religion(which is used for ruling) just refuse to believe it and find excuses about it.

And no, I am not committing blasphemy. Even if I did, I spoke for the facts. What is pity really? Ah, Abandoning the facts and real probabilities and real rationals just to obey an unproven creature is an example. I would rather commit blasphemy than believe in this sort of garbles.

1) God is not proven.
2) I am myself. I am not a servant of god. God does not make me do anything if he is high enough, And no, He can just brainwash me so I mind aligns with his.
3) It is your life, And you don't live to serve an unproven creature.

Well there are some sins that should not even be on board right now. Maybe because I am not an actual christian. Who knows?

Abortion: It is the woman's choice of whether the child should live, And no, He is not a person yet. He does not receive an ID until he is properly born as a living child.

Bringing dishonor to family, School, Community or the Church: Oh boy, You are seeing too much about authority. Let's say the school wants you to get a job, And you quit saying you'd rather not get that job. That is dishonor to the school and further, The corporation. But instead if you create 4 billion-dollar companies and save the world, And go to mars! Is this worth a sin? NO! You helped the world, And you don't need to confess this, Unless you really regret this, Which is very unlikely.

Disobedience toward parents/teachers: Same thing. If you rebelled inside the system and earned a million and donated $500K to the african poverty, You are committing a sin according to this board, But you really deserve not to be sinned. This thus should be removed. Kind of outdated.

Homosexual actions: WOW this is outdated holy hell. In this world where Homosexuality helps social awareness, Reduce overpopulation and even adopt orphans, Do we seriously need to obey this? Remove this.

Intentional violation of school rules: See 2 points above. You could save the school by "disobeying" intentionally while noticing further than them and improve the quality of the school.

NOT PRAYING EVERYDAY: I don't pray, And I don't need to follow a stupid book telling me what to do. It's my world not his. I don't need to waste my time talking to some unproven creature who'd turn my life upside down just because I brought new ideas to the old sections of this world.

Superstition: God is superstition. In this Christianity is unraveling in a snap of finger as god is not proven at all. Just rationalization, Maybe some blind faith, But little to no facts.

These should be removed from the
