 Pro There are no viruses. Viruses are illogical. Viruses can't attack humans because they have no brains, Legs, Eyes or ears.  Con 1) What is a virus? A virus is a small microscopic entity that is smaller than most bacteria (I know you don't believe that bacteria cause disease, But you still acknowledge their existence for some reason) and the most common composition of viruses include: Nucleic Acids- This includes DNA (single and double stranded DNA), RNA (single and double stranded RNA) or mixture of both. Capsid- A protein shell that protects the nucleic acid and defines the shape of the virus that in turn dictates what type of cell membranes it can infect. Envelope- Not all viruses contain an envelope, But those that do are a lipid bilayer that the virus obtains from the host cell when emerging once it erupts from the host cell that enables it to evade the hosts immune system and bond with the host cells membrane. Glycoproteins- These are the spikes on the outside of a virus (other organisms have these as well) that enable the virus to bind to signal receptors on a cells membrane with allows for invasion. 2) Viruses come in a few shapes and sizes with the smallest known virus being the circular Porcine Circovirus, The main genotypes being PCV2a, PCV2b & PCV2c, (17-22nm, ~1, 767bp) that causes multisystemic diseases in domesticated pigs. The physically and genetically largest known virus is the Pandoravirus (~1, 000nm, 1. 9-2. 5million bp) that primarily infect Amoebas. The shapes can range from simple "spheres", Polyhedral, Helical and complex (think bacteriophage). The largest virus can also be seen with a visible light microscope and the smallest requiring an electron microscope. 3) For your first point, "there are no viruses", This can easily be dismissed as trolling or willful ignorance. Not only do we have actual physical evidence of viruses in the form of pictures, Videos and isolated specimens, But we can also observe the direct effect they have on compatible hosts. The first identified virus was the Tobbacco Mosaic Virus which disrupts photosynthesis in over 199 plants, But was primarily identified in tobbacco (a multibillion dollar industry that spends millions of dollars in trying to understand and limit its influence). An infected plant shows dysmorphia, Necrosis and discoloration in its leaves that affects crop yields. An infected tomato shows discoloration and growth variations that causes a lumpy figure. We can see them by isolating them via centrifuge or filters. We can identify the type of virus by creating an artificial environment where they infect their preferential host and then filter it and we can also directly examine their genetic code. I can't wait what BS conspiracy you will bring up to brush this off. 4) Viruses are illogical. This is a true statement for someone who hasn't been in the education system since 1953 when DNA was discovered. What exactly about viruses confuses you? 5) Viruses are not considered alive because they do not have metabolism. What this means is that they are incapable of independent movment or replication in the same way some bacteria and single celled organism can. The way they travel is entirely based on the environment and host to spread them to other potential hosts. The DNA & RNA inside a virus mainly codes for its capsid shell and regulatory functions with very few "junk" DNA/RNA. I'd make a comparison to bacteria and how they also share a few similar traits, But you don't believe in them either, So I won't. 6) My final point is to ask you what your reality is if viruses are not real? What actually happens and why does it happen when a virus "infects" something? Is it magic, Humors, Goblins or something else that causes viral symptoms? Are all these multibillion dollar industries lying about viruses that negatively impact their profits? How does one single industry dominate dozens of other more profitable industries and convince them to lie to consumers, Shareholders and influencers? The burden of proof of your alternate theory rests on your next argument. I have thousands of peer reviewed papers and can explain step by step what happens. Can you? Pro Firstly it needs to be established that disease has only 2 primary causes.
1. Vitamin deficiency
2. Chemical poisoning.
Note - Genetic mutation is mostly caused by vitamin deficiency, Thus, It is not a 3rd cause.
Latin root meaning of the word virus - a poison or toxin.
Any other explanation other than these 2 reasons should be considered either as frauds or secondary symptoms of disease only.
Thus, These 2 explanations are sufficient to cover all of the so called many different diseases of mankind and plants.
To prove that viruses don't exist. Answer these basic logic questions - 1. How did the first person to see a virus know that it was a virus without any references as to what a virus looks like?
2. How do viruses find their host if they have no legs, Arms, Eyes, Ears, Brains, Sense of touch or means of locomotion?
3. How can something that is dead, Suddenly come to life?
4. How can viruses survive in the atmosphere and sunlight without any walls for protection? (very fragile)
5. How does a entity (virus) that kills its host pass on its genes and what does it gain by killing the host?
6. If viruses are proteins, Then why don't small insects like ants find them and eat them all?
A short history of disease Disease only started occurring when humans began to live in towns and grow agricultural crops. Disease is a result of redirecting nature into purposes that it was never meant for. Recent research has shown that agricultural products are unsuitable to the human digestive system and cause gut bacteria to leak into the blood stream. This is the main cause of the vast number of diseases of mankind many of which are blamed on so called "viruses". The medical system knows this, But they choose to ignore these facts because there is more prestige and money to be made from the 'germ theory of disease'. Just telling people not to eat grain, Sugar and dairy won't pay the bills and doctors will all die poor. Thus, There is a general conspiracy of silence about the dietary cause of disease which only people who have bothered to do their own research would find out about.

Thus, The medical professionals were just guessing when they assumed germs or viruses were causing disease to occur. Initially, This was just a case of innocent misunderstanding, But as time goes by, The innocence is slowly being replaced by devious manipulation and profiteering. Nowadays, There are no more excuses for this ignorance of the true cause of disease to continue. There is sufficient evidence and online avenues which clearly show that the old ways of thinking about disease need to be changed immediately.

Thus, We can plainly see that germs are merely a secondary phase of the disease process and are not the primary or initial cause of disease. Thus, The plants would have deteriorated, Withered and died regardless of there being any germs or viruses present. Thus, The farmer is tricked into using pesticides to kill said "viruses" which would add considerably to his ongoing costs. Thus, We can see that the university system and pharmaceutical companies work in co-operation to deceive the public and make them pay exorbitant fees for eradicating these invisible "viruses" which don't exist. All the farmer needed to do was to add some fertiliser to the ground and to rest the earth for a while so that the nutrients could be put back into the ground again. Note - Healthy plants need healthy soil to thrive. Thus, You can't just keep taking and taking from the soil every year and expect plants to keep on giving you a return. You need to put back what you take away. This is called logic. Its the mathematics of give and take. The equation must always balance. If it doesn't balance, Then somebody or something has to pay the price for the imbalance.
The false concept of a contagion.
In times past, Villages and cities used to have a well in the centre of each town. Every now and then, A small animal would fall into the well. The animal would die and start rotting in the water. People who lived closest to the well would get sick and die. Then, Gradually, People further away from the well would get sick and die. Some clever people would see a pattern of how the disease spreads. They would see a gradual widening of concentric circles from a central point. Thus, Was born the theory of the contagious disease. They assumed that an invisible agent was responsible usually carried by some insect or small animal. Rats, Fleas, Birds and mosquitoes are the most often used culprits which carry these diseases. That's mostly because these creatures are very unpopular and most importantly, They can't talk back. Thus, They are excellent candidates for blame and abuse. Thus, The people who are in charge of looking after the well, Will escape prosecution and blame because they have a viable scapegoat. Wonderful! Everything is so neat and tidy now and nobody goes to jail for the unnecessary deaths of thousands of people.
The flu virus doesn't follow the contagion model of passing from one person to another. The flu virus appears randomly in association with bad diet and doesn't follow the expanding concentric circles that one would expect with any contagion. Thus, You only need to supply one anomally to disprove any theory. It's common to overlook the health of our gastrointestinal system, Even though it contains 10 times more health-determining bacteria than the rest of our body. Protecting us from infection, Supporting our metabolism, And promoting healthy digestion and elimination.
Reply - 100% of humans are both lactose and gluten intolerant. Its called disease. Cold, Flu, Headache, Stroke, Heart attack, Cancer, Allergies, Diabetes and arthritis are all related to leaky gut syndrome.
