" Now knowing that definition, We must define gender fluid: "noting or relating to a person whose gender identity or gender expression is not fixed and shifts over time or depending on the situation. " Now that we're on the same turf, Lemme mention that this "gender fluid" is the complete opposite side of biology. If you think about it, Religion and science can be seen sorta as biology and gender fluid. The problem with this is that in Catholic / Christians schools, They teach types of science because science can agree, Disagree, Or not be connected at all (science can't prove it). In this case, Science can prove it, Meaning, You can't disagree with it. Now you might be like "but you said 'disagree', So that means religion can believe false claims even though science proves it wrong, " in this case with gender fluid, Science has proven its case with chromosomes. In this system, The sex of an individual is determined by a pair of sex chromosomes. If you have XX chromosomes, You're biologically a female. If you have XY chromosomes, You're biologically a male. No female can claim that they're male because they feel like it, According to science, There is proof that you're either male or female. You can't just claim you're a certain gender because you feel like it. If so, Why can't anyone be identified as a Roblox character? Why is it only gender? Why can't I be a different type of species?

I do not believe in the concept of being gender fluid so I am not going to debate you on that argument. Instead, I will focus on debating your point that someone cannot change their assigned gender at birth. If someone commits to becoming the opposite gender, Such as receiving sex reassignment surgery, Then they should be allowed to be that gender. Sex reassignment surgery would allow the body of the person to be of the opposite gender. If a transgender woman is given a vagina, Uterus, Breasts, And estrogen are they still a man? Chromosomes would say they are, But their body would not. Gender Dysphoria is a psychiatrically proven condition that means that the assigned gender at birth of someone conflicts with the gender that they identify with. Would you call this a mental illness or a fact that people should be allowed to change their gender? Scientific studies also prove that the brains of transgender people are closer to those of the gender they identify with. They do not change their gender because they feel like it, They do it because they might have a condition that makes them have disdain for their assigned gender at birth and a brain that is closer to one of the gender they identify with. So no, Changing genders is not like changing clothes as you imply. Changing genders is a serious choice and commitment that is influenced by psychiatric and scientific evidence. However, Some people in the transgender community only change their genders for attention. This is wrong and unfair to those who change their gender for real reasons. Like I said before, Changing your gender is a serious commitment and if you are not up to it, You should not change your gender. I believe you identify those who change their gender for attention correctly. However, They should not be the ones to speak and represent the entire transgender community. |

Men can have surgery to be female, But that does not change the fact that they're male. You can go through the process of becoming a female by having the same appearance but biology does not care. If you have XY chromosomes, If you become transgender, Those XY chromosomes just don't leave. Transgender-female can still get testicular cancer. When you we're born, You were determined by birth when doctors observe your reproductive systems. What makes men and women different, When it comes to the body, Is the sex chromosomes. Female have what are called " homogametic sex" chromosomes (XX) and men have "heterogametic sex" chromosomes. Since men"s sperm carry both male and female chromosomes (Y & X) there is a 50% chance of them being female or male. There is no other chromosomes then XX or XY. It seems like it comes down to feeling. If somebody wants to be a girl because they feel like it, There a physiological problem that's going on. Everyone is different and I can understand that, But saying that you're the opposite gender isn't true because science (biology mostly) has proven this due to sex chromosomes.
