Donald Trump is playing a very dangerous game. Maybe he thinks he is being clever taking so much power, But what happens when Democrats take charge, Eh? What then? They declare an emergency for the environment for global warming or gun violence, What then what mischief do they do then. Is that stupid wall worth destroying 200 years of constitutional limitied government, Because he has opened pandoras box, And nothing good will come of it.
The president has a right to call for a national emergency and, This should be a challenge question for all future presidents should we just justify the situation if a president is allowed to declare a national emergency? I don"t remember this outcry when president Obama pulled his 12 national emergency orders. But with Trump, Who took the oath to protect the country is not allowed to use a national emergency. This is all because that the president wants a better barrier than what others wants. The barrier will make everyone come through a portal that a united states border patrol agent will check them in or make them leave. |

No one has the right to abuse authority, The reason given for the emergency is bogus and a buse of the intent of the founders
Why doesn"t congress challenge it in the united states supreme court? Because you say that walls don"t work look at Israel. Do you think that the president doesn't have any facts? Does citizens who reside on the southern part of New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Do their own opinions come into concern? Obviously not, I think that this should change for every future president because of fair treatment. |

so you are willing to put families in danger but, Yet we have victims who lost their families members but, You still have yours. So why would you give two cents. The governors don"t care if the united states border patrol provides evidences. So what? I guess that everyone should support trafficking people and whatever because wall is offensive to people who doesn"t care about their neighbors. You know what trump should give a couple options because you cannot have everything and if I do not want what you want. Well, To freaking bad! I have bad news for you fools that is called "Dictatorship " |

Reasons for voting decision: I mean this is relatively clear from the get go because Pro doesn't fulfill his burden in showing where the abuse of power is in the constitution. Con did what he needed to do in stating that the move is in line with the president's constitutional powers which Pro has no solid response for.
billsands argues that "No one has the right to abuse authority" which I agree with, But for the fourth time, Never explains how Trump is abusing his authority. Billsands argues that "The reason given for the emergency is bogus and a buse of the intent of the founders" except it's not bogus. We need a border wall because illegal immigrants are trying to get into this country. The wall will help deter them from doing so.
