I prefer watch movies, Because is faster and you can see one each day.

A movie does not capture the same stories and emotions as a series it is just too short.

It would be impossible to condense Broad church down into a movie as it would lose its powerful effect and thrilling story and have to rush to make the 3 hour mark, And Avatar the last air bender is a great example as to why a movie is ineffective in portraying a story.

In a movie you loose a lot of the plot needed for a compelling story, Movies and TV shows both have their pros and cons but I don't think it can be said that movies are definitively better in general.
