Pro Water is value than Diamonds, Because we can't live without water Report this Argument Con Water is simply not as valuable as cut diamonds because of supply and demand. Water on average in the us is worth about 2500 liters for a dollar. A small. 3 carat diamond can set you back 162$ that's over a 1000% more valuable than water. If diamonds where what filled lakes and water had to be extracted from deep within the earth this would be a different discussion but as it stands water is less valuable than diamonds Report this Argument
Pro You have a pretty little point about your demand and supply, Frankly you and I know that with the absent of diamonds we can carry on live smoothly and be happier as much as we want, Unlike water which is our major basic need, With the absent of water you would probably be able to live for more than 48hrs. The point you're not understanding is that, Demand don't really determines value, But the benefits you gonna gain from it is what matter the most. Please, Con-cranytorso, Render this argument settled as I know you are capable of doing. Water is not only abundant and finite it is not comparable to the diamonds. The scarcity alone. . . Anyways maybe you could point out how computers and the industrial revolution would never have happened and how we all could have been conquered by a singular religion/culture by now without them.

Reasons for voting decision: This debate was rigged from the start. We should know water is more valuable than diamonds. Without water we would not be alive. Without diamonds I think tools would be less efficient. Survival is more important than efficiency. Pro also did not forfeit.
